Antique Puffy Bent Slag Glass Table Lamp Victorian Art Nouveau
This is a beautiful antique slag glass lamp. Caramel “puffy” glass on the shade as well as on the base. The lamp measures 21 1/2″ tall x 18″ wide. Shade has Art Nouveau floral swags and cartouches. The base has two handles and a metal design over the slag glass top and bottom on both sides of the lamp. Two original sockets with pull chains. Lights top, bottom, and top with bottom. Glass is all original. Not signed, so I don’t know who the maker was. Stunning large slag glass lamp. Condition: The lamp appears to be all original except for the wiring and the on/off switch on one side of the base. The cap at the top has a thin chip off the edge, which you can see in the photo taken of the top of the lamp. This is obviously not very noticeable because it’s on the very top of the lamp, but the shade may appear to be just very slightly higher on one side than the other. The base has some loss to the metal design, situated over the glass, at the top, where it appears some of it was cut off, although it looks the same on both sides. This is not something you notice unless you examine the lamp very closely. And there is some loss to the metal design over the glass, on one side, on the bottom of the base (shown). If you were to turn that side of the lamp to the wall, you wouldn’t know there was any loss…. Well, except for the fact that I just told you. The shade appears to be in very good condition. I don’t see any loss and the glass is all intact with no cracks. Thanks for stopping by. Antique Bent Slag Glass Royal Art Glass Lamp Bradley & Hubbard Pittsburgh Miller
This is a wonderful Signed Royal Art Glass Co. Bent Slag Glass Lamp. Is a beautiful lamp that stands 21 inches tall to the top of the finial, with a large heavy wonderfully sculpted base, 8 1/2 inches in diameter. The base is signed with “Royal Art Glass, Co” along with a symbol that must be their logo. Both the shade and base are deeply sculpted and with a patinated gold finish that is near 100%. You can check it out in the pictures. The shade is 20 inches in diameter and about 8 1/2 inches tall and all complete, no chips or cracks. The colors are complimentary and the lamp just looks great. Antique Signed Miller Bent Slag Glass Panel Art Nouveau Lamp Handel B&H Era
Just out of a local house is this exceptional signed Miller slag glass panel lamp. It has an ornate Art Nouveau filigree or overlay shade with 6 serpentine bent green and white slag glass upper panels and 6 red/orange slag glass lower panels. The lamp is fairly large and stands about 25 inches tall. The shade measures about 17 7/8 inches across, about 20 5/8 inches at its widest, and about 9 5/8 inches deep. The lamp is in good condition. The shade has one cracked upper panel that we pictured. The base has some loss to its finish but retains its original sockets marked Hubbell and Miller Lamps. They also have the original acorn pulls that are marked Miller Lamps. The wire was updated years ago and the electrics work well. See photos as they are part of the description. Beautiful ART NOVEAU 16 Panel Green Bent SLAG GLASS LAMP Excellent Condition
For Sale I have a Beautiful ART NOVEAU 16 Panel Green Bent SLAG GLASS LAMP Excellent Condition. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bent glass shade better than this one. This shade is museum quality, but I couldn’t find a manufactures name on the shade or lamp. Also there were 2 panels that were replacement panels that didn’t match the rest of this lamp shade. I had 5 new panels bent to match. According to the person I had bent the glass, it was a real problem. He said when he heated up the glass it would change colors and making the side panels were a real bear. He made me some extra planels that I’m including with this sale (see photos). I took this lamp and shade to a person I’ve known for years and together we came up with the mount you can see in one of my photos. This heat cap is not original but the shade is now solid on the lamp. The lamp and finial measures 32 1/2″ tall and the base is 6 1/2″ across. PLEASE NOTE: The filigree is in excellent except for one small area. I took a photo of this with an arrow pointing to the problem. Antique Miller Bent Slag Glass Lamp Bradley & Hubbard Pittsburgh Handel Styles
This is a beautiful well proportioned Bent Slag Glass Lamp, probably by Miller Lamp Co. I have the same base column on another signed Miller lamp, but this lamp is unmarked. It stands 23 inches tall to the top of the finial. The base is 8 inches in diameter with its original colors, brilliant as it came from the factory. Check out the photos. The entire lamp has a wonderful original patinated finish to it with almost all of the original colorful highlights to it and is in excellent condition. The 6 panel bent slag glass shade is all complete with no cracks or missing pieces and in beautiful condition. The shade is 14 1/2 – 16 3/4 inches in diameter, depending on measuring flats or corners and is 7 1/2 inches tall. All the overlay is present with its original colors. The column has a chiseled vase like pattern to it with a terrific patina and almost all the original colorful finish. About mint in condition. Antique Bent Slag Glass Lamp Probably Miller, Bradley & Hubbard Pittsburgh style
This is a beautiful well proportioned Bent Slag Glass Lamp, probably by Miller Lamp Co. This lamp is unmarked but for “4G” on the bottom of the base. It stands 21 1/2 inches tall to the top of the shade support. The base is 8 1/2 inches in diameter with a nice flowered and wave patter sculpted into it. The entire lamp has a wonderful great patinated finish to it and is in excellent condition. The paint may have been touched up at some point. The 8 panel bent slag glass shade is all complete with no cracks or missing pieces and is in beautiful condition. The glass is a tasteful mixture of tan variegated slag glass above a green slag glass at the bottom. Sort of like a follow through with the overlay pattern with foliage over green grass. The shade is 15 – 16 inches in diameter, depending on measuring flats or corners and is 8 inches tall. Check out the overlay photos for the really well sculpted scene. The column has a chased and sculpted pattern to it with a terrific look. The heavy base is iron (a magnet sticks) with a metal column. The lamp has been correctly rewired with and works perfectly. Large art noveau lamp with bent slag glass shade. This is a beautiful vintage electric table lamp. The lamp has a decorative heavy metal base with a single stem and two light sockets. Each socket has a chain pull. The lamp metals have a dark patina. The shade has a decorative metal overlay of trees in a forest scene with caramel color bent slag glass and blue slag glass inserts with a river and cattails and reeds. Antique Bent Green Slag Glass Lamp Chicago Empire Co. Miller Bradley & Hubbard
This is a wonderful heavy Bronze and Green Bent Slag Glass lamp by Chicago Empire Co. The lamp stands 21 1/2 inches tall on its neatly sculpted 7 1/2 inch base. The lamp weighs over 15 pounds. The Beautiful Green Bent Slag glass shade is all complete with no cracks or chips and is called Morning Glory on Trellis and is 17 or 18 1/2 inches in diameter, depending on where measured. It is 7 inches tall. There is one very small part of the casting in the top of the overlay that was missing in the cast. If I did not mention it you would not notice it, but I want to be accurate. The finish on the lamp is all there and the Bronze metal base and ribbed column have a great variegated green bronze finish to it. I find no markings on the lamp however, it is pictured in their old lamp catalogs. The lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfectly. Just a really beautiful lamp for your home or desk. This is an original wonderful Bradley & Hubbard double signed Bent Slag Glass lamp. This is a nice sized and heavy lamp standing 19 1/2 inches tall on a 7 1/2 inch richly chased and sculpted base. The base and column have the original patinated bronze finish in almost perfect condition. The 6 panel bent slag glass shade is about 16 inches in diameter and stands 6 1/2 inches tall. It is complete and all the beautiful sculpted overlay is complete with a wonderful antique bronze patina. The Bent Slag Glass panels are complete, no cracks or breaks.
