Large art noveau lamp with bent slag glass shade. This is a beautiful vintage electric table lamp. The lamp has a decorative heavy metal base with a single stem and two light sockets. Each socket has a chain pull. The lamp metals have a dark patina. The shade has a decorative metal overlay of trees in a forest scene with caramel color bent slag glass and blue slag glass inserts with a river and cattails and reeds. It has an on-off switch on the cord. The lamp is 25 1/2″ tall to the top of the finial and the shade is 21″ across and 12 high. We always recommend the wiring be replaced for everyday use. Exceptional Antique Bent Slag Glass Lamp With. Lighted Base Handel Miller B&H Era. We are pleased to offer for sale this gorgeous vintage Art Noveau style bent slag glass table lamp with lighted base. This lamp is 21″ tall to the top of the finial on the shade and the shade is 18″ in diameter. Caramel and cream bent slag glass panels with lovely brass detail. The lighted base has matching slag glass with unique brass detail. This lamp has double sockets with two pull chains and the base has a push button for the base light. There are 3 lighting options with this lamp, top only, bottom only, or top and bottom. This lamp is in very nice cosmetic and working condition, however there is an area of damage that has been repaired on one of the panels…… The old glue has yellowed and as a result, it is more visible than it otherwise would be. I believe this area can be cleaned of the old glue and. Repaired to the point it would be barely visible and hard to detect. The rest of the glass panels have no chips, cracks or repairs and the brass fretwork has no missing pieces or damage. There is no makers name on this lamp but it is the style and era of Handel, Miller and Bradley and Hubbard. This lamp is a wonderful work of art and we will package it with utmost care in two boxes. Antique A & R Bent Slag Glass Lamp Miller Bradley & Hubbard Pittsburgh Handel
This is a wonderful antique & old rare A & R Co lamp, apparently, from Newark, NJ from the early 1900′s. The Base is marked A & R Co. The lamp stands 20 1/4 inches tall with an 18 inch in diameter shade that itself is 7 inches tall. The circular base is 7 inches in diameter. The lamp has a beautiful patinated green and brown finish with great accent colors. The finish is about 90 – 95%, with some wear to high points. The wonderful pierced overlay is also matching in finish over the bent carmel slag glass. The glass is all there and complete. The lamp has been correctly rewired with period correct wire and works perfectly. This is just a great beautiful lamp for your home. Antique Bradley & Hubbard Bent Slag Glass lamp, Miller & Pittsburgh Lamp Styles
This is an original exquisite large Bradley & Hubbard signed Bent Slag Glass lamp. This is a large and heavy lamp standing 24 1/2 inches tall on a 7 1/2 inch sculpted base. The base and the vase like column are all wonderfully cast and have the original patinated bronze finish in almost perfect condition. The 8 panel bent slag glass shade is 20 1/2 inches in diameter and stands 7 3/4 inches tall. It is complete and all the sculpted overlay is complete with a wonderful antique bronze patina. I did notice that one small segment of the overlay has been replaced. I usually remove things like that but it is secure and tight so I left it. I didn’t even notice it until I was preparing to take the photos. The Bent Slag Glass panels are complete, no cracks or breaks. The lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfectly. Signed at the top of the column with the B & H triangle mark with a number on the base bottom. Check out the photos. A wonderful large & good looking lamp for your home! The lamp has caramel slag glass panels, that are bent outward near the bottom perimeter, which features an original painted filigree in green and red. The lamp base is signed “Rainaud”, and the lamp shade (and all other parts) are original to the lamp. It has been professionally rewired with a cloth cord, and is ready for immediate use. The piece is 17.5″ in diameter and 8″ tall, the bace base is 23 tall from base to finial. Overall, the lamp is in excellent condition. The shade is free of cracks, chips, restorations, or missing filigree. The base is complete, intact, and stands straight, but has lost much of its original polychrome decoration (paint). This is a really nice Antique Bent Slag Glass signed “Salem Brothers 1918″ , a Lamp with the lighted base. The Salem Brothers worked out of New York at the beginning of the 1900′s. The base is marked as above and I do not know if the 1918 is the date or a model number. Check out the photos. The lighted base Lamp stands 21 1/2 inches tall on its 8 inch base. The shade is 17 3/4 inches wide and 7 inches tall. All glass panels are complete and no cracks. The nifty original switch for turning the light on in the base is there and works fine. It is a real antique push/pull brass switch and works fine and looks great. The original finish is almost all present on the base and the finish is more worn on the shade. Just a great looking lamp with the overlay intact and nicely sculpted. The lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfectly. Antique Miller Bent Slag Glass Lamp Bradley & Hubbard Pittsburgh Styles
This is a beautiful well proportioned Bent Slag Glass Lamp, probably by Miller Lamp Co. I have the same shade on another signed Miller lamp, but this lamp is unmarked but for #718 on the bottom of the base. It stands 22 inches tall to the top of the finial. The base is 6 1/2 inches in diameter with a terrific wicker weave sort of sculpted pattern to it. The entire lamp has a wonderful original patinated finish to it with verdigris highlights to it and in excellent condition. The 6 panel bent slag glass shade is all complete with no cracks or missing pieces and in beautiful condition. The shade is 13 – 15 inches in diameter, depending on measuring flats or corners and is 8 1/2 inches tall. The column has a chased brass pattern to it with a terrific patina and at the top and bottom there are modeled metal leaves surrounding the central column. The lamp has been correctly rewired with and works perfectly. Just a beautiful lamp for your home that is sure to increase in value.
