Parker Antique Arts Crafts Mission Slag Glass Bradley Hubbard Handel Era Lamp
Rare Charles Parker 8 panel slag glass lamp. I’ve had this since around 2010. I bought it with a two of the caramel colored panels cracked. I took it personally to a slag glass artisan a few hours drive from here and he replaced them along with a new styled rayon cord. None of the panels are cracked or broken. It’s a bit dusty along the panel edges and I have elected to just leave it that way. Some of the panels have slight surface chips, very small at the size of a pencil tip and can be seen in photos, which upon closer inspection appear to be broken surface bubbles or just minimal flaws in the glass that have been impacted with years of dust build up. The base has some paint missing which is shown in some of the pics and there are other places where paint is missing as well. This is a 100 year old lamp give or take and has not been fully restored so expect it not to be that way. If you have questions on that please feel free to ask me. Appx 23 high to top of finial. Antique Arts Crafts Slag Glass Ornate Scenic 12 Panel Lamp Signed Miller Co 1920
This is a beautiful and ornate Miller Lamp Co 12 panel lamp from the early 1900′s. The lamp features a scenic overlay shade and colored curved glass to accent the scene. The shade looks to be all original and the glass is unbroken. The base looks to have been refinished at some point but matches the shade pretty well. The shade rests on a Pittsburgh type support and the base has 2 working sockets. The base has an interesting cord port that I have not seen on many lamps. Overall, this is a great looking lamp from the Arts and Crafts Era. PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES AS THEY ARE THE BEST REPRESENTATION> Lamp is signed on the bottom of the base. Lamp is approx 21.5 tall. Bradley Hubbard Leaded Slag Glass Antique Vintage Arts Crafts Lamp Handel Era
That’s an unbelievable savings as well. This is not a common lamp by any stretch and i have only owned to in my 25 years of collecting and dealing. The glass in this shade is very nice and extremely vibrant and This is a full sized lamp in that its measuring 23 inches tall and the shade being 19 inches wide. The base is properly signed Bradley and Hubbard underneath please see photo, and its in original patina with all four period Hubbell sockets sockets with acorn pulls matching one another and in fine working order. These sockets alone are worth 200-250 dollars folks. There is no damage at all to the very heavy base. As for the shade that is also in very nice overall original condition. Great quality glass certainly Murano as being the maker and as you can see it lights up incredible. All the filligree present and accounted for as well as all the glass holding tabs on the inside of the shade. No breaks in the glass nor missing pieces thereof. I bought it as you see it but think it might have been originally a hanging shade but truthfully i could care less due to the rarity of the shade. I guess if anybody wanted to try and convert back into a hanging shade maybe that option exists as well but for now i think its excellent the way it is. All in all a super nice arts and crafts style lamp by one of the best makers there ever was you cant beat that. We may be able to hand deliver this item ourselves. What that means is this. That’s huge overall savings folks. I have for sale this very very nice leaded lamp on a tree trunk form base. This is a supercool lamp folks and this lamp is in excellent overall condition and needs no excuses. This is a very seldom seen Handel base and its in excellent original condition. Its in fine working order and has been recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord and old style plug. No breaks in the metalware and properly signed on the bottom with Handel metal tag. Now onto the shade. The shade in great coloration with vibrant glass and in a excellent arts and crafts/floral design. The shade in excellent original condition and needing zero excuses. The leading all tight and right throughout and no loose glass pieces. Please look at the photos closely folks as this is a very well made shade with quality leading and great glass. Maker unknown, but i think it was made by Anthony Hart (please google him) as well as check out his work at leadedlamps…. Because no other makers did this sort of work quality and design work. Large 20 Antique Vtg Arts & Crafts Leaded Slag Stained Glass Lamp Shade, Fruit
A Beautiful Large 20 Antique/Vintage Arts & Crafts Era. Leaded Slag Stained Glass Lamp Shade w/Fruit Design. It comes with all of the original parts to make it a hanging lamp if so desired. The photos were taken showing it mounted as a shade on a sturdy floor lamp and it could be used accordingly. As you can see from the photos the blue/green/purple glass pieces are iridescent colors. Very cool when lit up! It’s a multi-panel shade that has no damage to the glass. No cracks, chips or breaks, which is rare and hard to find. (We’ll make sure to pack it so it arrives in the same condition). The apples & pears on the sides stick out about 3/4″ to 1″ from the sides. The cherries are flat. Measurements: 20″ diameter (plus the fruit that sticks out on the edge 3/4′-1″). 14tall to the top of the crown. A very helpful eBayer sent us a lovely message about the history of this shade. He said it was made by a company known as Chapman House Tiffanies in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, USA. Dennis Fusaro and Christopher Foster were the original owners. When the company closed in the 1970′s, many of the workers formed the Heart Tiffany company out of New London, Connecticut about 20 miles north of Old Saybrook. Thanks for the great info! Early 20th Century Slag Glass Lamp Bradley Hubbard Handel Miller Arts & Crafts
This is a very large, beautiful, early 20th century slag glass lamp with a rare, lighted base. The lamp also features very uncommon colorful glass. The lamp appears to be all original. It is in excellent condition considering it’s age with 2 exceptions. One of the upper curved panels has a hairline crack that has been stabilized with what appears to be epoxy. It is nicely done and the crack is nearly impossible to see what the lamp is not lit and very easy to overlook when the lamp is lit. The other issue is a bit of missing filigree on one pane. Again, an untrained eye would probably never notice. I have detailed these issues with pictures. Aside from that, the lamp works and is beautiful both lit and unlit! Up for consideration is fine 1920′s Bradley & Hubbard Genie Lamp with nice Brickwork overlay 12 paneled shade. The piece stand about 12 inches in height and measures about 7+ inches in length. It functions and the lattice work is completely intact… The 6 larger curved panels are in fine condition. However on of the small flat rectangular bottom panels has been taped together… This is an a very minor issue and can be repaired easily by most people locations that cut glass and of course it is a common color of glass light carmel slag… The base looks to have been painted black at one time… The base is heavy well made and shows great detail in the casting… If you have any questions or something to share please message me.. Art Nouveau, Arts & Crafts Era Seldom Seen Documented Wilkinson Leaded Stained Slag Glass Library/Table Lamp, circa 1910-15, s. The lamp shade has 16 inch in diameter with a layered brick dome in caramel, honey, amber colors slag panels and having a wide drop down with white daisy flower heads among a tangle of green leaves forming an irregular border. The ornate Wilkinson lamp base is molded cast metal/probably bronze/ has a nice green finish with original three ,, Hubbell” light sockets and pull chains and finished with acorn finials. The lamp base has an original pierced heat cap with Wilkinson lock system to connect shade with base. Even still has an original hook for price tag(look at last picture). The lamp base has 24.5 inches tall. The lamp has some signs of usage commensurate with age, minor heat lines (only 3 small panels I could see) to the shade. Please ask any questions.
