Vintage Slag Glass and Brass Table Lamp in Working Condition 20.5 Tall 12 Wide
Vintage Slag Glass and Brass Table Lamp in Working Condition 20.5″ Tall 12″ Wide. The shade measures 12″ across x 12″ deep x 9 tall. The total height of the lamp and shade is 20.5 tall. The lamp shade is attached to the lamp but I can unscrew the upper light section where the bulb is and can cut the electrical cord in order to get the shade off the top of the lamp. Doing this will destroy the wiring for the lamp but will save just the shade. All the panels on the shade look to be in good condition. No names or hallmarks was found anywhere on the lamp. As is unknown but I’m guessing the 1950′s era with a nice Arts & Crafts / Mission style design. The very bottom of the lamp has 2 small splits in the metal base. Beautiful metal table lamp with a gorgeous 4 panel slag glass shade in a light lavender marbeled slag glass. Glass is in great condition, also the filigree metal frame as well as the base. Paint loss as you see in the pics. I see no markings. Shade measures 7 inches high and about 6 across. Lamp is 15 inches tall. Color is a cream butter yellow, probably yellowed with age. Vintage Unique Caramel Slag Glass Etched Birds Lily Base Table Lamp. Beautiful caramel slag glass lamp of nominal size at approx 31 height from very base to highest point tip. Shade width measured from under bottom approx 17 to a few mm more in other angle measurements. Near life size art glass pear in a photo to demonstrate size. Has a cute pine cone finial. No notable defects such as chips nor cracks. See last photo and zoom in to see the etched detail (hard to photograph but I tried with a cloth behind) you should see 2 birds flying toward their nest with 2 babies inside it and that same design is etched on each clear panel (8 panels). It is a 6 (night light size) bulb lamp.
