Bradley Hubbard Leaded Slag Glass Arts Crafts Vintage Antique Lamp Handel Era
Thats a huge savings overall for sure. The base signed Bradley and Hubbard, the shade unsigned. This is a very nice looking and nicely designed arts and crafts geometric lamp. This lamp Is very large measuring in at 24.5 inches tall with the shade being 20.5 inches wide. The base with no breaks, cracks, or losses in the metalware and in fine working order. The base also in original patina and in very nice condition. Recently rewired with period style cloth cord and old style plug. The base is telescopic which means the owner can raise or lower the height of the shade to desired level simply by twisting a knob and pulling up or down on the stem of the base. A very nice feature that is only attributed to Bradley and Hubbard. Now onto the shade. The leaded shade in ok condition which means its structurally sound throughout, lights up very nicely, but does have some tight lines in some glass segments throughout. Remember folks, this lamp is well over 100 years old. Please look at photos closely as they are certainly part of this description. I have to assume the base and shade have always been together for the past 100 years or so because they are so nicely matching, as well as the total proportion of shade and base in relation to each other but i cant say for sure if the shade is Bradley and Hubbard. That said, and because they both look perfect together, does it really matter? From there our rates will increase from the base price posted for the Eastern Time Zone as follows. Central Time Zone Add: 15%. Mountain Time Zone Add: 25%. We may be able to hand deliver this item ourselves. What that means is this. Bradley and Hubbard Bronze Table Lamp Slag Glass Dogwood Leaves Berries
Up for your consideration is a Bradley and Hubbard table lamp, circa 1915. It is art nouveau style, with dogwood leaves and berries designed in bronze. The lamp shade has six cream-colored slag glass panels. This lamp is used, but in excellent condition and appears to be all original with no necessary competed repairs. The only discovered damage, aside from the typical scratches, edgewear, and dings, is there appear to be 2 tabs missing that hold in one of the panels. This item has been well-cleaned, but there may be some leftover dust. The panels are unbroken and uncracked. The shade has been fully disassembled and cleaned, however, as you can see in the photos, there are tiny black spots on the glass where some dirt is still present. This lamp is very heavy for its size and weighs approximately 17 pounds with the cord. The cord is in excellent shape and appears to be original, but this is unconfirmed. Light bulbs not included for safety purposes. The makers mark is very small and located at the top of the lamp itself, upside down, and only visible when the shade is removed. On the opposite side, it says “APL”. The bottom of the lamp has a protective green fabric, in decent but used condition. Measurements are approximate and listed below. Thank you for viewing and please let me know if you have any questions or would like additional photos. Height with shade: 21″ Width of shade: 18″.
