This is not a common lamp by any stretch and i have owned hundreds and hundreds of Bradley and Hubbard lamps in my 25 years of collecting and dealing. Lets start with the shade. The glass in this shade yellow on top with green around the lower border. A great combination which b and h used often. No missing glass segments in the shade of course and No filligree losses around the border of the shade. Patina on the shade frog skin and in very nice original condition. Now onto the base. Its in fine working order and also no missing any glass segments and showing no cracks or breaks in the glass or filligree/overlay. Great frog skin patina throughout and recently rewired using a green colored era period style cloth cord and old style plug. Again there is no damage at all to the base. This lamp will command any room its put in and lights up better than photographed. It would look particularly well sitting on a Stickley or Limbert style table due to its arts and crafts design and form. All in all a super nice arts and crafts/prairie style lamp by one of the best makers there ever was so you cant beat that. Again a really really cool arts and crafts/prairie style design with all the leading tight and right throughout. No missing glass segments of course but some age stresses here and there as would be expected for a shade 100+ years old. No filligree losses around the border of the shade. Now onto the base. Its properly signed Bradley and Hubbard above the socket cluster in its well known triangular form- please see photo, and its in original patina with all three period Hubbell sockets with acorn pulls matching one another and in fine working order. This lamp Is very large measuring in at 24.5 inches tall with the shade being 20.5 inches wide. The base with no breaks, cracks, or losses in the metalware and in fine working order. The base also in original patina and in very nice condition. Recently rewired with period style cloth cord and old style plug. The base is telescopic which means the owner can raise or lower the height of the shade to desired level simply by twisting a knob and pulling up or down on the stem of the base. A very nice feature that is only attributed to Bradley and Hubbard. Now onto the shade. The leaded shade in ok condition which means its structurally sound throughout, lights up very nicely, but does have some tight lines in some glass segments throughout. Remember folks, this lamp is well over 100 years old. Please look at photos closely as they are certainly part of this description. I have to assume the base and shade have always been together for the past 100 years or so because they are so nicely matching, as well as the total proportion of shade and base in relation to each other but i cant say for sure if the shade is Bradley and Hubbard.
