1930s ART & CRAFTS MISSION TABLE LAMP With SLAG GLASS SHADE
This 1930s Arts & Crafts Mission two-light table lamp is made of cast iron (base), heavy cast metal (stem body, shade frame and shade cap), and brass (rolled upper stem, spun socket bodies and cast finial). The bottom of the base has “459″ etched on it. It has been restored to its original soft yellow. The slag glass panels are white with swirls of honey. The four slag glass panels are original. All the slag glass panels are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. This classic Arts & Crafts Mission slag glass lamp stands 21 1/2″ tall & has a 12″ wide shade. The cast iron lamp base is 7 1/2 in diameter. Original pull-chain light sockets are rewired with gold cloth covered cord & a new repro bakelite plug. It weighs 8 lbs. Light bulbs not included. Art Nouveau Tiffany Style Pond Lily Stained Slag Glass Table Lamp Floral
“Style” Pond Lily Stained Slag Glass Table Lamp Floral. Base appears to be a marriage made by Leviton. Very very heavy Lamp. I didn’t see any makers marks on the shade. Very beautiful lamp with mint blemishes as pictured. Some discoloration and patina loss in a couple spots. Please feel free to request additional pics or ask any questions. I’m hooray unsure. It’s an exquisite Lamp either way. The cord is frayed and will need rewired eventually but it still works, as pictured. In the Lighted pics, I only have 2 out of the 6 bulbs inside. The Miller Co. Antique 1920′s 6 Panel Slag Glass Rose Filigree Design Lamp
6 Panel Slag Glass Rose Filigree Design Lamp #236. A Rare and beautiful find in working condition. This lamp measures 23 1/2 tall from base to top of finial. Diameter of the base is approximately 7 1/2. It weighs 13 1/2 pounds! There are no cracks on the base. It has two sockets, which both work. The chain is short on one of the sockets so a piece of string was added. The other socket chain is missing the little ball on the end. It looks like the original color, which is a vintage bronze. There is a handsome Patina to it, which can only occur over time. Under the base reads, MLCO 236, which translates to The Miller Co. This indicates that the lamp was made some time after 1924, which means this lamp is nearing Antique status in a few years. The 6 slag glass panels have no cracks. They are a creamy butterscotch color. The lamp shade measures. 15 1/5 in diameter and is roughly 9 1/2 high. The delicate Rose filigree is in excellent shape, given its age. There are few flaws, one being a minor piece which is loose, BUT is still attached (see pics). One other flaw is on the top where there are two cracks. These do not affect the integrity of the lamp and they should be straightforward to fix. The tabs that keep the slag glass attached to the shade are all still there. There is one that worked it’s way into the wrong position which is an easy fix. There is also a missing “ball” on the skirt. Again minor, but should be pointed out. The lamp could use a good cleaning. It has sat in their home for many years. The Rose filigree is amazing, intricate and delicate. The glass is stately as is the base with its rich patina. This truly is a statement piece by one of America’s finest and oldest lamp manufacturers. It’s an early American piece of art, with an interesting history. Something which is becoming more and more scare to find in very good. Would look amazing, on a credenza, in a foyer or in most any room in your home. Antique oil lamp slag glass shade
This is a very rare antique slag glass lamp shade for an oil lamp. Usually found on Bradley Hubbards among other makers. The glass is green and original. There is a slight crack in one of the panes shown in last picture. Very hard to see. Someone put a piece of tape on it which is also hard to see but is removeable. The pane is stable. We have not altered it in any way from the way found in the attic of a local estate. The shade measures 8″ tall and the shade is 14″ diameter. The top hole diameter is 5″ and the lower hole diameter is 4″. There is 6.75 between the outter edges of the top hole to the bottom hole. Please see pictures as they are part of the description. Antique Working Art Nouveau Blue & White Slag Glass Hanging Lamp
Estate Find Antique Working Nouveau Blue & White Slag Glass Hanging Lamp. The hanging lamp is vintage/antique and shows its appropriate patina also cosmetic wear for its age. For a better description & size please look at all of the photos because this will be the item that you will be receiving. With being antique and pre-owned it will need a cleaning which I will leave up toy. The wiring, plug and socket looks to be in very good condition with no cracks or dry rot. I do not know what the shad material is made out of but I can tell you it appears to be a soft metal with a copper/brass color which looks very nice for its age. I do not see any cracks in the slag glass & if anything is missing or has been altered I could not tell you because I’m not a expert on this item. Cosmetic wear is original patina, earmarks, scuffs, scratches, nicks or dings, rust or pitting metal parts, dusty/dirty & could use a cleaning which I will leave up to you. I took a photo of each panel so please look at the photos for a better description. All photos except for the two hanging lamp were taken outside in the natural sun light to get the true color of the lamp. The two photos of the lamp hanging were taken inside a log cabin with a LED light inside the lamp. With not having a maker mark I’m not sure on who made the item but it sure does look just like 1920s Miller Art Nouveau Blue & White Slag Glass Hanging Lamp but with no maker mark I can’t vouch for this.
