Up for consideration is a Unique 4 socket Art Glass Lamp Base. The base is 23 tall to the top of the finial. The shade fitter inside lip 3 1/2 outer lip 4 1/4. The foot is 8 in Dia. 4 Bryant sockets with original interiors with satellite pulls. The base has a brown and green patina. There is some wear to patina. The cap has some dings on the top as shown in the pictures which is part of the condition and description. All in all a nice Unique base. The base has been rewired with old plug. 4 ea – 1930s Art Deco Pagoda Post Lamps w/ Slag Glass Inserts (Super Scarce). The Flared Pagoda gives a deco style rare to post lamps. Each is approximately a whopping 17″ Tall and 7.5″ x 7.5. Slag glass inserts are caramel cream and free of cracks. They have been rewired and ready to install along a driveway. Or even up the sidewalk to the house on posts. A standard edison keyless bulb socket. The tops are easily removed. With thumb tight screws to replace light bulbs and I would suggest. LED bulbs to curtail any damage to the glass inserts. If failed to mention it. They are made of aluminum which was a costly metal back then. (This will curtail the porch pirates). Very good condition overall with no chips, cracks, or any visible damage. The lamp was wired very dangerously with only a thin piece of paper between the chain and active wire, so the inside has been completely rewired and each switch is working properly and safely now. Antique 24 8-Panel Concave Bent Slag Glass Table Lamp Miller Bradley Phoenix
A large, antique, 8-panel, concave-bend, slag glass parlor table lamp. Overall height is 24″ / 8-panel shade is 18″ across. Finding no mark of maker. Very striking and unusual concave bending of shade’s upper portion glass; no damaged glass in any of the 16 panels. Probably rewired at one time — the wire and plug look to be maybe from the 1950′s. Early, brass ” P&S PATENTED” sockets w/6 ball-end pull chains. One socket not lighting up when pulled (likely a wire connection issue, but we are not electricians). Wonderful patina on decorative cast iron base, with original cast iron shade cap and finial. Only defects are a tiny separation of the upper fitter framework (NOT LOOSE, very slight separation in the cast spelter framework, which might be factory made) and a thin portion of the spelter overlay on one panel missing (see photos for detail). Otherwise a striking example of the Miller / Handel / Bradley-Hubbard period’s lighting. Recovered from attic storage, so dusty as found — we have NOT cleaned the base or shade; will improve greatly from as found with a good bath! Our pictures do not do the lamp justice. Gorgeous and in amazing antique condition – no cracks in the slag glass, no cracks in the soft metal framework, and all metal tabs holding glass in place are intact. You can turn on just the base, just the top, or both (see first photos). As with all older lamps, consider rewiring (though I see no fraying or hazard). Each of the 5 base glass panels is 4.5 across the bottom, 3 across the top, with a maximum base width of 6. Each of the 6 top glass panels is 4.25 across the bottom and 2. 5 across the top, with a maximum width of 8. Approx 13.5 tall (to top of brass finial). Please see photos and message with questions.
