Mission arts craft stained slag glass roycroft stickley dirk van urp copper lamp
A large incredible antique all original very very rare mission arts & crafts signed G. Trautmann Raven Wood Chicago hammered copper and leaded slag glass table lamp in excellent condition. This is one of the most beautiful lamps on e-bay and certainly one of the rarest that’s ever been on e-bay for that matter. I have never seen any other lamp anything like this one. I believe this lamp is a one of a kind. I don’t believe he ever mass produced lamps. I can only find very little about him but have found other examples of his work and have had a few of his lamp bases over the years that weren’t signed. Another lamp I did find of his that was signed had a date of 1909 with the signature. If anyone one knows any thing about him please contact me with the information. This lamp is truly a very finely hand crafted work of art from a master craftsman. He even made his own chain pulls for the socket switches. You rarely see this amount of detail in any lamp that I know of. The original patina is in very good untouched condition with some minor loses as shown. This lamp is extremely dirty being in a storage unit for more than thirty years and could use a very good cleaning that would only enhance the beauty of the original incredible slag glass in this shade and the patina on the copper. I have left it as found for the new owner to determine how and what to clean there is 100 years of dust and dirt on it. There are no cracks in any of the slag glass panels. I did have to make some very minor repairs to some of the leading by re-soldering it together where it had separated over time and now its good for another 110 years. There are some minor small dents in the shade that will be shadowed by the sheer beauty of this lamp as shown. I have listed this lamp twice so I could post more photos of it. Antique Bradley & Hubbard Bent Slag Glass Lamp Miller Empire Handel Styles
This is a wonderful Bradley & Hubbard Bent Slag Glass lamp from the early 1900′s. The Lamp stands 20 1/2 inches tall on its sculpted 8 inch base. The lamp base is marked with the Bradley & Hubbard Triangle marking up at the sockets. There is also a stamp on the base, however it is indecipherable. The great looking large shade is 19 1/4 in diameter and 6 1/2 inches tall with a very intricate and complete metal overlay. The Overlay is all there and really nice looking over the variegated Carmel Bent Slag Glass. Check out the photos. All the glass is complete without any cracks or chips. The whole lamp has a beautiful patina to it and a great look. The lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfectly. Just a fine looking Bradley & Hubbard lamp for your home. Antique Bradley & Hubbard Slag Glass Lamp Signed B&H 1908 Pat Date Arts & Crafts
This is an original Bradley & Hubbard slag glass lamp from the early 1900′s. This is a beautiful form and very well proportioned lamp. Base is signed and shade has a patent date of 1905 stamped on the inner edge. This is a medium sized lamp at approx 12″-13″ wide and 19 tall. Make a great desk or night stand lamp or a great eye catcher atop a book case or china cabinet. The lamp is in very good shape for it’s age. It has 16 glass panels that are a mix of reds, greens and off white. Some of the panels appear a bit lighter than others so possibly some replaced panels. This lamp has so much filigree that it’s really hard to tell any difference in the glass. It all looks great! Sockets and pulls appear to be original and work perfectly. Cord has been updated for safety. There is one very small sppot of missing filigree that can be seen in picture #4. Also a spot where there appears to be some separation in the shade near the top in one area. It is solid and has no detectable looseness or movement so maybe an old repair. It is not noticeable except on close inspection. Please see all pictures! This is a beautiful piece!
