In Art Nouveau or Arts & Crafts design. Let, s start from the shade… Just look at the construction of shade… Very thin leading lines. Super design with outstanding shading shape. Size of shade is 17 3/4 in diameter. Just a few /3-4/ glass panels have heat line cracks, keeps strong structure and in almost an excellent condition. Slightly dirty, which is ok — for lamp over 110 years old. The shade has intertwining fleur-de-lis pattern with nicely matched glass / changing from white off to light blue to light turquoise colors/ that really accentuates the design of shade. About lamp base — simply trumpet style is still of superior quality and was made from a solid bronze. Antique Art Nouveau Slag Glass Lamp Green top and bottom panels light up 6 panel
This is a gorgeous green slag glass lamp. The top lights up in full light, with a standard bulb of your choice. The bottom also lights up, and has a small white C-4 Christmas style bulb that hangs down from a wire inside, and screws in to turn on. You may need to clamp this somehow if you prefer. We believe this was rewired in some years past. The lamp works perfectly and throws the most beautiful hue of green, among the metalwork scroll design. This lamp does not appear to have the original finial. The metal is different on the finial than the lamp itself. The shade and bottom are in 2 separate pieces, and are heavy, and a bit fragile. We did not see any makers marks on this lamp. 6 panels on the shade, 4 panels on the bottom. Size is 19.25 tall. Beautiful Art Nouveau period sliding book-ends. (or book rack) The glass panels on this example is among the best I’ve seen. From research, APOLLO (est 1874) didn’t mark goods “Apollo” until 1909, dating these to pre 1909. (A direct competitor of Tiffany’s). Unless the makers mark is under the enclosed glass panels. I have not removed the metal plates to check. The glass again is exquisite so there is no doubt they are “period”. See pictures for exact condition. All sales are final. Don’t miss out!!!!! Antique Signed Bradley and Hubbard Slag Glass Lamp Very Ornate Base. This is a very elaborate B&H slag glass lamp. I think this is the first one I have seen with a marble spacer. Most of the other metals, other than the base, appear to be made of brass. The lamp stands 19 1/2″ tall with a base of over 9″. The marble is multi- veined with no chips or breaks. The lamp has been recently rewired, has two matching bell chain pulls. We invite questions to be asked at any time!!!!! . These are an investment for people who choose to collect the finer items. Up for your consideration is this a rare and seldom seen on e bay market full floral leaded stained Slag Glass large table lamp made by Royal Art Glass Company in “Hollyhock” design, Circa 1910, s. That lamp was the largest version and most beautiful made by that company. Look at the finial and heat cap — really nice ornate design, has three original sockets. Look at the lamp base -_– how is beautiful it!!! Size of base is 27.5″ tall by 10″in diameter at the bottom. Look at the shade! It has ONLY 3 heat cracks in lower band of stained panels. Really , almost Mint condition for lamp shade which is over 110 years old! Size is lamp shade is 21 in diameter. This is a documented lamp! I put last picture with photo of that lamp from the book “Mosaic Shades, volume II” by Paul Crist, page # 318. Any questions, please ask.
