Rare STICKLEY Era ARTS & CRAFTS TABLE LAMP MISSION OAK Craftsman Wood Slag Glass
This is finely handcrafted table lamp, a great period piece handmade “Mission Arts and Craft” from oak wood and opaque pressed green slag with streaks of white glass lamp. Looks great when lit up and for the age of lamp in excellent condition. I estimate it to be from around 1906 – 1923. The glass is slag with green with hues of white. There are 2 small cracks in the green slag glass which is in one of the panels of the base. (See picture) The solid oak wood is very thick and the lamp has a solid base. The wood was perfectly stained to bring out the beautiful oak and shows a very nice oily build up on the wood that also, shows the age of this lamp. There is a chip it the wood at the top of the shape. (See picture) It is a large lamp heavy and well built lamp. No other major scratches, dings, or dents. The switch appears to be a old rocker type switch and the lamp works. (See picture) The wood shade is approx. 18″ across at it’s widest it stands 21″ tall and the base is approx. Pick – Up only. Antique Bradley And Hubbard Slag Glass Lamp (gorgeous) 16 Panels (25 Tall)
HAS VERY DETAILED METAL WORK, ALL SILVER (ORIGINAL FINISH) SLAG GLASS LAMP. HAS MOST UNUSUAL STYLE SHADE WITH VERY INTRICATE AND BEAUTIFUL CURVED SLAG GLASS AND METAL WORK, NOTE THEIR ARE THREE PIECES OF METAL WORK MISSING ON TOP OF SHADE AND A COUPLE OF PIECES THAT HAVE BROKEN APART BUT ARE STILL IN TACT AND HARD TO NOTICE. (SHADE IS STILL IN AMAZING CONDITION). ALL GLASS IS THERE AND IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR REPAIRS, WITH CARAMEL COLOR GLASS ON TOP AND A BLUE COLOR AROUND BOTTOM BORDER OF LAMP. THE BORDER OF THIS LAMP IS AMAZING WITH HEAVY DETAIL WORK. THE BASE OF LAMP HAS NICE DETAIL WORK FROM TOP TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS LAMP AND ALSO HAS ORIGINAL SILVER FINISH. Arts & Crafts J A Whaley Leaded Slag Stained Glass Table Lamp Handel Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is an extremely nice example of J A Whaley’s work in stained glass table lamps. I have owned a few of these petal form shades, but hands down this is the very best one I have seen. The glass in both the petals and the background is just outstanding. The petals are done with a mix of green and brown glass that looks different in each petal. The yellow is some of that really nice stuff that Bradley & Hubbard commonly used….. Deep, dark, and highly colorful. Together they make for one fantastic looking shade. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here and as you can see from them the lamp displays extremely well and would look awesome in any arts & crafts setting. In terms of size, the shade measures 20″ in diameter and the lamp stands about 25″ tall. In terms of condition I do not see even a single crack in any of the glass panels….. This lamp was well cared for! The base as well retains its original finish and its wonderful cast cap that is so famous of Whaley lamps. It has what appear to be its original Bryant labeled sockets with their original. Interiors and ball ended pull chains. It has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and a nice old plug and comes ready to use and enjoy. This is a large and impressive lamp made by a quality maker in the true arts and crafts style. It is a beautiful example of J A Whaley’s work and is in very fine condition overall. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. Antique Arts & Crafts Gorham Geometric Leaded Slag Stained Glass Table Lamp

Done in the arts & crafts style, the large geometric leaded glass shade is a full 20″ in diameter and the lamp stands an impressive 29″ tall. Just look at the detail in the shade with a great selection of mottled green, white and amber glass that make criss-crossing geometric patterns around the apron. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here and as you can see from them the lamp displays extremely well and would look awesome in any arts & crafts setting. The base is solid cast brass and comes with what look like its original sockets, porcelain interiors and ball ended pull chains. This one is actually prominently signed on one of the bottom edges as shown GORHAM CO. It has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and a nice old plug and comes ready to use and enjoy. This is a large and impressive lamp made by a quality maker in the true arts and crafts style. It is a beautiful example of Gorham’s work and is in very fine condition overall. Ornate Antique Old Victorian Silver Gorham Leaded Slag Stained Glass Table Lamp
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is an outstanding example of Gorham’s work in stained glass table lamps. Just look at the detail in the shade….. And the matching base! This lamp is one that was specifically made this way, with exactly matching base and shade. The emblems on the shade are exactly matched to those in the base. The quality is second to none, with extremely fine lead lines and a great selection of glass. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here since I cannot describe this lamp any better. What I will say is the lamp looks just as good lit as it does unlit, but lighting it does bring out some of the subtitles in the glass. As for size the shade is 17″ in diameter and the lamp stands about 22″ tall. It is silver plated on the leading and in the base. The details in the emblems are just wonderful and these are repeated in the base. I see maybe 10-15 small cracks, mostly in the red glass behind the emblems, The base has 4 matching Paulding labeled sockets with their original porcelain interiors and acorn ended pull chains. It has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and a nice old plug and comes ready to use and enjoy. I have seen many Gorham lamps but have not come across this exact one before. It may have been a special order for a wedding or some gift or something….. But suffice it to say that there can’t be many out here like it. It is a beautiful example of their work.
