Duffner & Kimberly Arts & Crafts Leaded Slag Stained Glass Lamp Tiffany Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is an absolutely stunning example of Duffner & Kimberly’s work. They call this shade the “shell” and it should be readily apparent why. What’s amazing about this particular example is the number of different kinds of brown glass they used and how much they vary in color. In addition, the medallions at the top have a striking glow when lit up. This lamp is 100% original and has not been messed with in any way (except for the rewiring). The glass is all original. The base is all original. It is truly an excellent all around original lamp. As for size, the shade measures 19″ in diameter and the lamp stands 23″ tall. I will let my pictures do the talking here, but if you have any questions about this lamp please feel free to ask. Condition is as close to excellent as you can get with maybe a coupdl of small cracks here and there. I would not replace this piece as you would never find the same glass and it really does not detract from the appearance at all. The base retains all of its original hardware including matching Bryant pull chains with their original interiors and ball ended pull chains, original heart cutout cap, and finial. It has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and a nice old plug and comes ready to use and enjoy. Folks, these shell lamps do not come up all that often and I can honestly say that you won’t find one in as nice or in as original condition as this one. If you have ever wanted a great example of a true Duffener & Kimberly original lamp, this may be the one for you. Thanks, and please see my other listings for other great lamps from this period. It has just become too difficult and costly to do so effectively. It is actually much better for both of us this way as they will fully guarantee it to get there without damage and if something happens they will 100% stand behind it without any claims hassle. There is some loss to the bronze finish on the lamp base, and there is a separation or split at the top of the shade. Art Nouveau Slag Glass Lamp. Being offered is a very nice antique slag glass lamp in the Art Nouveau style, circa 1920′s-1930′s. Larger lamp with beautiful over-lay and a floral base. Shade is 19 wide with six panels in caramel colored glass, that has a wonderful glow when lite. Height of lamp is 22″ and the base is 8″ wide. Lamp retains it’s original gold patina & parts. Antique Lighthouse Slag Glass Lamp
Being offered is a very nice antique lighthouse lamp with beige and caramel colored slag glass. This lamp lights up on the top and bottom, many use the bottom on with the top off as night light. Over-lay is a repeating shield/medallion pattern. Lamp has been newly rewired with a period style cord & plug and ready for use in your home. Larger lamp stands 23 1/2″ in height and the shade is 18″ in diameter. Condition is very good, with one panel repaired, difficult to find. Patina is original and with very little loss. Antique 1900s E. Miller Co Art Nouveau Slag Stained Glass Table Lamp Orig. Cond
Slag glass table lamp in amazing original condition. All matching glass, matching finial, base and shade pattern. Matching finish all over the lamp including the original rare Bryant saturn ball pull chain socket that rotates lighting the bulbs as you pull the chain. Very unique and original to the lamp. This lamp was originally a silver and gold but with most spelter lamps, the finish is actually repelled by the metal and has mostly disappeared. No dents, breaks or repairs to this lamp. You can see small areas recessed where there is gold and silver. It must have been spectacular! This lamp is Art Nouveau. There are flowers and plants all over and they all match. Even the finial is a match flower. Take a look at the photos. Interesting to note: The slag glass has a satin or sanded finish. Very soft when lit or unlit. It is not glossy top or underneath. Measures 20 1/2″ tall x 16 1/2″ in diameter. Marked E M & Co 1172 , E M & Co 1077 on the weight inside under the lamp if you take it apart. I have rewired this lamp with high quality bronze cloth covered wire and reused the old plug. Here is a very unusual and rare Miller slag glass table lamp!
