Antique Salem Bros Scenic 12-Panel Slag Glass Lamp – Beautiful. Excellent condition with some light age related wear. All glass panels are original and intact. Upper panels are light bluish glass with other colors mixed in – while the lower panels are green glass. Shade is in excellent condition and shows scenes of a house with a bridge and trees and other plants in the metal work. The base is in excellent condition with no breakage. This lamp was made by Salem Bros. As marked on the bottom of the base. This lamp has two sockets – Only one socket is currently working. The other will need a new pull switch or repair to the current switch. The cord and plug are in good condition – The cord was replaced at some point. This lamp measures about 22 tall. The shade measures 16 1/2 across at the widest. The base measures 7 diameter. This is a beautiful, authentic 12-panel scenic slag glass lamp. It looks great with its high level of detail and the multi-colored glass. The only flaw is that one socket needs the pull switch mechanism replaced or repaired. Antique Large Art Nouveau Slag Caramel Blue Glass Lighthouse Lamp (Miller Salem Brothers Hubbard Style). I do not see a stamp or marking. 26″ tall base, 19″ wide x 8 tall shade, 8 panel. Please view photos for best representation of condition. Item shows light wear , mainly clean. I do not see any cracks or chips in the glass. The shade glass is intact, but there are metal parts that need to be repaired. Will not currently sit on base. 2 metal arm supports and the center ring need to be put back together. Antique Salem Brothers Bent Slag Glass Lamp Miller Bradley & Hubbard Styles
This is a really nice Antique Bent Slag Glass signed “Salem Brothers 1918″ , a Lamp with the lighted base. The Salem Brothers worked out of New York at the beginning of the 1900′s. The base is marked as above and I do not know if the 1918 is the date or a model number. Check out the photos. The lighted base Lamp stands 21 1/2 inches tall on its 8 inch base. The shade is 17 3/4 inches wide and 7 inches tall. All glass panels are complete and no cracks. The nifty original switch for turning the light on in the base is there and works fine. It is a real antique push/pull brass switch and works fine and looks great. The original finish is almost all present on the base and the finish is more worn on the shade. Just a great looking lamp with the overlay intact and nicely sculpted. The lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfectly. This particular one features one of their nicest designs with filigree depicting flower baskets and floral designs entwining the whole border.
