Rare Beautiful Antique NWAS 37 Slag Glass Patriotic Piano Desk Lamp! . Rare 1920′s Desk Lamp Signed NWAS 37 on the bottom. The ornate overlay on the lamp shade is made of aluminum and features an eagle with spread wings above three doves flanked by cornucopias filled with apples. Possibly a comemorative piece. This lamp is in good used condition. It appears to be all original with its original cord. Everything works as it should. There is a small crack in the metal as seen in the last picture. Rare Antique Art Nouveau Piano Lamp with Green Slag Glass
We view lamps as more than lighting, we view them as art. As more than a way to brighten a room, a way to brighten ones day. Up for consideration is this Rare Antique Art Nouveau Piano Lamp with Green Slag Glass Shade. It has a socket based on/off switch. It is in very good to excellent antique condition. The lamp originally had reverse painted slag glass but the paint was faded and chipping. One side is slightly taller/higher than the other (see photos). There are areas of age related chipping and fading of the paint (see photos). There are areas of patina or tarnishing of the metal (see photos). There are no broken or cracked slag glass. Please view all photos carefully as they are a part of the item description. It measures approximately 9 inches by 5.75 for shade, 10.25 wide at ball fasteners, 6 inches in diameter for base and 13 inches tall. This also applies to non lower 48, USA locations. I have for sale this very hard to find Handel desk/piano lamp. This is a very nicely designed lamp from about the best maker the world has ever seen. Its in fine overall condition with no breaks or damage and its in fine working order as well. The shade without any losses or issues or breakage and the same for the base. The shade measures 5 inches tall and is 10.5 inches wide. The base measures 8 inches tall by 15 inches from front to back without shade in place. The lamp recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord and old style plug and its in fine working order. So i have to ask, when was the last time you saw one of these? Old Bradley & Hubbard Piano Student Slag Glass Lamp Works Neoclassical
Excellent Bradley & Hubbard patinated brass desk lamp with tented shade having green slag glass panels with metal overlay. Overlay is lattice work with ribbons and. Bouquets and possibly bell flowers and scrolls, very neoclassical. Is mounted on double yoke arms supported by a very ornate round base. I looked and found a Pat date of 1908 as shown. I believe the base is bronze and the tent shade is some other metal. Is not my area of expertise. Very good antique condition with some surface oxidation pull chain finial missing one glass panel broken and. Regaled/taped the other a couple nicks. Works great and is beautiful when lit as you can see. This lamp is about 12″ tall, 6 1/2″ diameter base. Each slag glass panel is about 7 3/4″ x 5 1/2″. One side of each shade is about 7.25 x 8.25 and the width from the support arms is about 10 wide. Very heavy desk lamp for its size. Items I sell are not new.
