Stunning slag glass desk lamp. It has a Hubbell light fixture in it. It’s in good used condition. No chips or cracks in glass. The metal appears to be copper and is also in good condition. Rare Bradley & Hubbard Brass Slag Glass Gooseneck Piano Desk Study Library Lamp. Estimated manufactured date 1880 – 1920′s but could be earlier. Bradley & Hubbard (B&H) based in Meriden, Connecticut made lamps from 1856 to 1934. This lamp is quite rare, I have only ever seen one other just like it. It is mint/near mint condition as shown in pictures – there are no flaws to point out just normal age and great patina. The bottom of the base is heavy cast iron and the rest of the lamp is brass over top of the cast iron base. 15 height to the top of the curve of the gooseneck. 7-7.5 shade width/diameter.

Stunning and rare Handel piano or desk lamp featuring an adjustable goose neck arm with caramel slag glass shade with bronzed metal overlay of faux tile or brick pattern with a central lyre symbol surrounded by a laurel leaf wreath on a bronzed base, c. Base retains the original Handel cloth tag. The base measures 7 1/2? Long x 5? Wide x approx 12″ high, though adjustable, shade is 10 1/2″ wide. Lamp is in Excellent working condition and exceptional cosmetic condition, near mint to mint, no wear. A fine addition to any home or collection. All items come from a smoke free home. Antique Slag Glass Desk Table Piano Lamp Light no glass
Antique Slag Glass Adjustable Desk Table. There is no slag glass panels with this lamp. Arts and craft stores sell pieces of slag art glass that could be cut and used to replace the panels. Measures 12″ high x 11.5″ wide. Shade measures 6 deep. Base measures just under 5″ x 5″ square. Lamp weighs 3.25 pounds. Newer wiring in the last 50 years. Always suggest and recommend updated wiring and plug. Most of all metal on lamp is non magnetic and it looks like a combination of aluminum and copper, brass and or spelter. Rim to hold glass in place is magnetic. Slight wear or discoloration on base. At the inside top right and left corners there are 2 metal pieces of wire which would help hold the glass panels down at the top on each side. There is a patina spot in photo #5. No ball at end. When chain is pulled, socket pulls down with this ever so slightly. Very slights marks from age and time. Light bulb not included. In recent examination, the upper glass holder and base may have been cleaned prior to me receiving, in order to match existing color.
