Antique Slag Glass Desk Table Piano Lamp Light no glass
Antique Slag Glass Adjustable Desk Table. There is no slag glass panels with this lamp. Arts and craft stores sell pieces of slag art glass that could be cut and used to replace the panels. Measures 12″ high x 11.5″ wide. Shade measures 6 deep. Base measures just under 5″ x 5″ square. Lamp weighs 3.25 pounds. Newer wiring in the last 50 years. Always suggest and recommend updated wiring and plug. Most of all metal on lamp is non magnetic and it looks like a combination of aluminum and copper, brass and or spelter. Rim to hold glass in place is magnetic. Slight wear or discoloration on base. At the inside top right and left corners there are 2 metal pieces of wire which would help hold the glass panels down at the top on each side. There is a patina spot in photo #5. No ball at end. When chain is pulled, socket pulls down with this ever so slightly. Very slights marks from age and time. Light bulb not included. In recent examination, the upper glass holder and base may have been cleaned prior to me receiving, in order to match existing color.
