Up for consideration is a Rare all orig. Solid Bronze Suess Ornamental Tree Trunk Base. This by far is the best base made by Suess or any other company. Stands 23″ tall and has a massive 13″ Dia Foot. The cap is stamped with a number on the inside. Very heavy and with its orig. Untouched patina this is a keeper for that Suess shade you might have on a lesser quality base. The base has its orig. Harvey Hubbell sockets with there orig. Mica inserts and Acorn pulls. The patina is very nice must see in person pictures just doesn’t do this base justice. No repairs or cracks. The only minor issue is there is a small area where the foot is raised on the edge as shown in the last picture. Does not affect the base at all. Base has been rewired with period style cloth wire and old Hubbell Plug. These bases don’t come up often in there orig. Due to the size and weight.
