Handel Arts Crafts Tulip Slag Glass Antique Mission Lamp Bradley Hubbard Era
That’s huge overall savings folks. I have for sale this very nice Handel arts and crafts style desk/piano lamp. This tulip lamp is in very good overall condition and needs no excuses. No chips, cracks, or breaks in the glass and or metalware on the base. The base in fine working order and recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord and old style plug. The patina very nice throughout and it lights up way better than i could photograph. The lamp measures 14.5 inches tall and is signed Handel on the bottom. From a New England estate. Stunning Art & Crafts Mission Era antique 6-panel table lamp with carved oak base, caramel glass panel shade. Vintage wiring in working condition (we note an area where a housecat bit the wire). Medium oak finish has attic-dry suface in areas (crackly) over oak. May have had an early finish restoration. Line in slender neck area is tight, stable, commensurate with age, and located on back facing side of carved base. Beautiful original caramel slag glass panels with natural inclusions on slants/sides. No damage to shade. Double socket for standard size base bulbs. Assembled, lamp is just under 24H. Shade is constructed of wood with stylized cut-outs at sides and measures 14 1/4″W and is 8 1/2″H. Base measures about 8W. This is a Nice. Ceiling Mount Light Fixture. Arts & Crafts / Mission Style. As it is right. Hangs down 46 from the ceiling. The cord is lo. Ng enough though that if you added more chain it could hang down 6 feet. The lamp shade is approximately 19 1/2″ wide x 10″ tall. The glass is in excellent condition. No chips, cracks etc. It could use a detailed cleaning. The wiring, socket & chain are newer than the glass shade. The chai n doesn’t really match the fixture. Please see all photos. The round metal piece that attaches to the ceiling is missing. You could also take the lamp shade. Nd use it o. A table or floor lamp. It works as it should. Good wiring and socket. I have for sale this very nice Handel arts and crafts mission style pine needle overlay floor lamp. This is not a common Handel size for a floor lamp and this one is in excellent original condition. The lamp shade is in excellent overall condition and needs no excuses. No glass breaks, no missing or broken filligree and no metalware losses or breaks. I have always loved these pine needle overlays and i hope you do too. The base is 53 inches inches tall to the top and the shade is 6 inches by 6 inches square. The base with very nice chocolate brown patina throughout and a great arts and crafts design. No dents, dings, nor damage of any sort on the base and the base stamped Handel on the bottom. Socket and turning knob replaced which is common with these especially after 100+ years and its been properly rewired with period style cloth cord and old style plug. A very warm looking floor lamp for an arts and crafts style room or home and perfect for the end of a couch for a reading light. Handmade Mission Style Slag Glass Table Lamp Arts & Crafts Decor
This is finely handcrafted table lamp, a great period piece handmade “Mission Arts and Craft” from oak wood and opaque pressed green slag with streaks of white glass lamp. Looks great when lit up and for the age of lamp in excellent condition. The glass is slag with green with hues of white. There are 2 small cracks in the green slag glass which is in one of the panels of the base. The solid oak wood is very thick and the lamp has a solid base. The wood was perfectly stained to bring out the beautiful oak and shows a very nice oily build up on the wood that also, shows the age of this lamp. There is a chip it the wood at the top of the shape. It is a large lamp heavy and well built lamp. No other major scratches, dings, or dents. The switch appears to be a old rocker type switch, the lamp works and it has one bulb with old type light socket. The wood shade is approx. 18″ across at it’s widest it stands 21″ tall and the base is approx. The item is stored in my storage unit in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
