This is a stunning original antique signed Miller and Co. Stained slag glass lamp with a water lily design. Shade measures 19″ across lamp measures 26″ to top of finial. Condition : The shade has issues. One main panel and two smaller bottom panels need to be replaced. The base is excellent with great original patina. It’s been rewired at some point and seems to be fine and works well. The 6-panel Slag-Glass Shade measures 17 1/2″ wide by 7″ tall and has caramel/green swirl glass panels that are all original and perfect. The bronzed spelter-metal frame has two small breaks to the bottom edge as well as a wear point to one of the small accents at the top edge. The base of this lamp is made from bronzed cast iron and is 8 1/2 wide at the bottom. Overall, this antique Miller Slag Glass Lamp is in very good condition and it still works. Light wear to base from being safely displayed and stored for many years. This comes from a local estate. The shades are removeable and you can change the look of the lamp to many different styles of your chosing by moving the shades to different stems. The lamp has three separate lights that come up and hang over in a floral design. You can have the main middle light on, the two-side lights on, or all three lights on depending on your preference. Each shade has alternating pink and green slag art glass panels and look just amazing with the bronzed metal base stand. It has a ON/OFF turn switch on the base and comes with original cord. Works great, with no issues. The base is covered with a gray felt material that has a few slight tears. I have not tried to remove the material to see if it is signed anywhere on the base. I cannot find any signatures. It is very similar to some HANDEL signed lamps in the LILY style. It is very heavy and is definetily a designer piece. The lamp measures aprox 22.5″ tall and the base measures aprox 10″ wide. This is a very hard to find piece and would be a great addition to any collection. Antique Slag Glass Bronzed Table Lamp Domed Caramel & Coral Panel Shade EX B&H
This beautiful, vintage 1920s, antique lamp is in fine, original condition. The pull chain sockets operate with a good snap; one appears to be an old replacement. The heavy, bronzed cast iron and metal base retains it’s gorgeous patina as does the shade and finial. The lamp has the original wire and plug; it works but, the wiring should be replaced. The paneled shade is 16″ in diameter and, the overall height of the lamp is 23″. This is a stunning looking lamp that will enhance the look of any environment. The last pic shows a panel that is not cracked. There are some deep fissures from manufacturing in the old glass that give that appearance though. Looking from the inside… It’s definatly not cracked.
