Description: Up for sale is this very nice clean bent panel slag glass lamp. Lamp boasts 6 panels of caramel slag glass and 6 panels of red glass inserts. Red glass inserts highlight a small butterfly accent near the bottom. Lamp has original bronze finish. Has one socke with turn screw. Socket is older but not period to lamp. Wiring is new 18 ga. Wonderful Art Nouveau design with achanthus leaves, geometric designs and butterfly cut out. There is a mark on the bottom but very hard to read. Antique Bent Slag Glass Lamp Chicago Empire Co Miller, Bradley & Hubbard Styles
This is a good looking and heavy Variegated Carmel Bent Slag Glass lamp by Chicago Empire Co. The lamp stands 23 1/2 inches tall to the top of the finial, on its neatly sculpted 7 1/2 inch base. The lamp weighs over 17 pounds. The Beautiful Carmel Bent Slag glass shade is all complete with no cracks or chips and the metal overlay is called “Morning Glory on Trellis”. The shade is 16 1/2 or 18 inches in diameter, depending on where measured and is 7 inches tall. The aperture on the shade is about 3 3/8 inches wide. The finish on the lamp is almost all there with a few age chips here and there. The sculpted metal base and vase shaped column have a great dark patinated brown finish to it. I find no markings on the lamp however, it is pictured in their old lamp catalogs. The lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfectly. Just a really beautiful lamp for your home or desk. Description: Up for sale is this very large Bradley & Hubbard table lamp dating to circa 1920. Lamp boasts 8 panels of bent slag glass of caramel color. Creates a very soft warm atmosphere. Base has three sockets that allow various levels of light. These lamps were made long before 3 way light bulbs were invented! The Bradley Hubbard signature on this lamp is found a the top of the base. Lamp is made in a classic design that will accent almost any decor. Shade and base have a matching urn design. Even the finial has a pine cone or pineapple design that matches. Lamp has been re-wired with modern 18 ga. Electric cord and is ready for service but with all electical appliances please examine carefully before using. This is a really good looking Bent Slag Glass lamp that is not marked. The large lamp stands 23 inches tall on its 7 inch beautifully colored sculpted base with shade. The original colors are well patinated and make a really nice looking lamp. Check out the photos. The bent variegated tan slag glass shade is 18 or 20 inches in diameter (corners or flats) and 8 1/4 inches tall. The nicely colored overlay is all present with its original coloring. The lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfectly. The interior of the sockets have been replaced using the original shells to retain the great looks of the lamp.
