Vintage Arts & Crafts Signed Miller Slag Glass Lamp. This lamp features the most beautiful matching green slag glass. The lamp has an intricate floral four-sided design and it is all in perfect condition with no damage or repair. The lamp base is a two-socket fixture, the sockets and pull chains look old however, I can not guarantee that they are original to the lamp. The lamp is in working condition, it has an older cord with a large Bakelite plug. The lamp measures 20” tall to the top of the finial, the shade measures 12” square at the bottom and 17” at its widest on the diagonal. Sorry to do this and I hope you will stay on as fine and loyal customers. I have for sale this very nice bradley and hubbard lamp base along with a contemporary leaded shade. The shade measuring in at 16 inches wide and the base 21.5 inches tall. Both shade and base without issue which means for the base no metalware breaks or damage and its in fine working order. The base has been recently rewired with a period appropriate cloth cord and plug along with two good working sockets. There is a ding in the lower portion of the base and i photographed it so take a look. Nothing horrible for a 100 year old base and really doesnt detract from the overall appearance but i wanted to mention it anyways. The shade in very good condition as well, with all pieces of glass present and accounted for. The glass in mottled or spotted form and is superb when lit. The leading throughout tight and right, and the patina nice as well. The glass of great quality and this lights up way way better than my photos are showing. It measures 19.5″ tall and the shade is 12″ in diameter x about 8 (nice desk size). It is in overall wonderful condition with a few hairline cracks seen on close inspection as shown in photographs. Antique Scenic Slag Glass Lamp 3 Sockets Arts & Crafts Miller Handel Signed WB
This is a beautiful slag glass lamp from circa 1920! The lamp features a 12 panel shade with scenic trees and cabin. The base is phenomenal on this lamp. We have owned dozens of this style of lamp though the years and this is the heaviest base I believe I have ever known… It is not smelter or blended metals as on many of these. It appears to be either cast iron or bronze and has a true copper plating on it. There are spots where the plating is worn but it is still very impressive overall. The form is true to the Arts & Crafts period. Please see all pictures. The base is equipped with a 3 socket cluster which has newer sockets and cord. Bottom of base is signed WB. There is also a stock number. Not sure of the maker of this lamp but it is a high quality piece. If you have any info you’d like to share, we welcome info and opinions : Base is approx 23″ tall and shade is a little over 18″ in diameter. Its in excellent original condition and it measures 15 inches tall by 26 inches wide. It has a great 6 socket cluster as you can see from the photos and its in fine working order. The leading all tight and right and i see no repairs. Its got a couple of tight age/heat stress’s in the glass which is appropriate for its age. Great patina on the hardware as well. This is a great lamp folks and very very seldom seen and then you add in the savings of not having to pay a large buyers premium on top and it makes it a must have lol. This is a beautiful, original Edward Miller slag glass lamp from the early 1900′s. Condiering the age of 100 years, this lamp is in fantastic condition. It is signed E. On the bottom and shade appears to be original to the base. This is a 16 panel light with green bent panels up top and a slightly lighter shade on the bottom edge. Incredibly warm when lit. The lamp has a rare 3 socket cluster and each socket has original acorn pull. The lamp works as it should and appears to be all original save for the power cord itself. No cracked or repaired glass. This lamp is full sized measuring in at 21.5 inches tall with the shade being 18.5 inches wide. The base with no breaks, cracks, or losses in the metalware and in fine working order. The base also in original painted patina which is seldom seen especially in this crazy good condition. Its been recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord and old style plug and its green in color to match the lamp base as well. The overlay shade also in very good overall condition and without damage of any sort. As for the filligree/overlay Im not seeing any losses there and all the glass holding tabs present and accounted for and the glass without losses or breaks. The painted lower border of the shade, matching the paint color in the base. This base and shade have always been together thats for certain. Antique Arts & Crafts Handel Leaded Slag Stained Glass Table Lamp
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a very nice Handel/Unique periwinkle leaded glass table lamp. Periwinkle Unique shades are fairly common, but this one is particularly well done and I think the flowers are a little smaller and more plentiful than others I have seen in this design. Both the flowers and even the background glass are very colorful and simply outstanding. The dark greens in the leaves really contrast well with the predominantly pink petals of the flowers, and the caramel background glass just pulls it all together beautifully. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here and as you can see from them the lamp displays extremely well and would look awesome in any setting. In terms of size, this is a medium sized lamp with an 16″ diameter shade that stands 20 1/2″ tall. In terms of condition, I see a couple of small cracks here and there, but nothing serious. There are no replaced pieces and the shade has that nice rattle of an old and original lamp. Patina on both the shade and base is just outstanding. For those of you who are new to this, the shade was made by Unique and the base is Handel. Unique did not sign their shades and the ones that are signed HANDEL should be looked at as being very suspicious as copies were made in the 1970′s. This is a good, old, authentic one from the early 1900′s. The base is a better than average bronze one that was made by Handel but is not signed. It has its original Hubbell sockets with their old porcelain interiors and satellite ended pulls. It has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and a nice old plug and comes ready to use and enjoy. These things need to be double boxed and packed really well. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. If you want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. If you are watching this just to watch and see if it sells, that’s fine.
