ANTIQUE FLOWER BASKET FILIGREE 8 PANEL SLAG GLASS LAMP HANDEL B&H ERA. Shade is 17.5″ across / lamp stands 24″ tall. I found this lamp at a recent estate sale. The lamp looks spectacular when it’s lit up. All of the creamy marbled glass panels are intact with no damage. The metal filigree is spelter and it is in excellent condition. The lamp shade overall is in excellent condition. The spelter base has a few minor flaws if you examine it closely you will see some minor cracks and a little paint loss. It probably had a felt covered bottom with a foil. Label on it, but it’s long gone. It looks like the base has been repainted in an antique bronze finish. This lamp was working but had a broken lamp chain switch on one bulb socket when I bought it. I thought I should try to fix but when I took it apart it crumbled and I realized that the fabric covered wiring inside the lamp was so tattered and frayed that the lamp will need to be rewired. Rare and beautiful, from my parents estate I offer for your consideration this wonderful large mission arts and craft table lamp. It is a large lamp The shade measures approximately 12 inches from top to bottom, approximately 22 inches wide and the base of the lamp is 16 inches tall not counting the four wooden holders that holds the lampshade. The lamp is in very good shape for its age. I see that it had been rewired for there is a new socket on the lamp. The slag glass is in really nice shape. A long the rim of the shade you have a heart shaped in the center with smaller openings for slag glass. There are tiny cracks, on the four sides. You have to look real hard to find them. This is truly a beautiful mission Arts and craft styled lamp. Please look at all pictures very closely for they are part of the description. Antique 1900s Pittsburgh Co. Iridesc. Stained Slag Glass Art Nouveau Table Lamp
For sale here is a GORGEOUS antique 1900s Art Nouveau style iridescent slag glass table lamp made by the Pittsburgh Lamp Co. This lamp is large and heavy high quality made. It uses iridescent slag glass which has a WONDERFUL quality and flames orange at the brightest light area that shows through the glass. The base looks very original and the finishes match perfectly but I don’t know for sure if it is all 100& original The sockets are old large brass sockets from the 1910s -20s. The shade glass holding tabs don’t appear to ever have been moved so I believe the glass is all original but one pane is cracked with a small diamond piece missing. I show a close up of this in the last photo. I do have a glassmaker from Ill. He does an excellent job of matching glass, even iridescent slag. I would give you his info or work to get the panel replaced if you are interested. I have rewired this lamp using high quality gold cloth lamp with. The pull chain sockets work perfectly. This lamp measures 23″ tall x 16″ in diameter. It is gorgeous lit or unlit and would make a wonderful antique lighting decoration in any home! Thank you for looking! Early 1900s Antique Mission Arts and Crafts Slag Glass Oil Lamp Stickley Era
Offered is this breathtakingly beautiful top-quality antique. Mission Arts and Crafts Slag Glass Oil Lamp in original condition and dating from the early 1900s. Standing an impressive 2 feet in height, the handsome solid oak base and trim is in amazingly-preserved condition given the age. The contrasting emerald green slag glass and oak shade does have one pane with a very old crack (looks like a repair was attempted long ago; see close-up photo for detail). Nonetheless, the lamp displays beautifully despite the flaw and is quite solid and sturdy. The lamp including its oil tank has NOT been drilled or electrified; the light socket and cord seen are NOT permanent and can easily be removed if you wish to add a wick and use it as an oil lamp. The lamp can also be permanently electrified if desired. Due to its fragility, the lamp will be professionally packaged to ensure safety in transit.
