The lady on the base has flowers or wheat and a sweet face. The base and shade both seem to be made of spelter and have polychrome finish. It’s a nice size, has been rewired and is ready to use. Art Nouveau Miller-b&h-handel- Era Carmel N Blue Slag Glass Lamp
This is one gorgeous lamp! It has new period cord n plug. It has a two socket cluster with pull chains. One socket controls the bottom light as well one top socket. The scenes of trees and a cottage/ castle is beautiful. The filigree has a beautiful patina with a brass / or gold appearance. I do not see any damage to the the filigree however there appears to be spot between the panels that was maybe fixed due to a slight separation. You have to look closely to find it. There has also some spots on the inside where I think it was a result of the same thing. There is a tiny chip on the inside of one the blue panels, you cannot see it from the outside. The shade is 17 ins wide, the base is 8 1/4 wide and it stands 24 ins tall. It is also a very, very heavy lamp. Shows age, wear, patina and minor dings and light scratches. Lamp base shows oxidation, but is very solid and could be cleaned up. Cord was replaced a long time ago. The shade is in very nice shape with normal age and wear, light oxidation. One panel shows a crack (pictured) that appears to be pretty old. Could turn to the back without really noticing, or have it repaired. I don’t see any other obvious cracks or damage. It is a very nice shade.
