This has as great of an arts and crafts look to it as you will ever find. Its in very good overall condition as well. The base with a very nice three socket cluster all in fine working order, hubbell sockets and original acorn pulls. This is one of bradley and hubbards most desired bases and i believe to be referred to as a bean pot base. It has the bradley and hubbard telescoping feature (that no other makers used) where the owner can raise or lower the shade to its desired height simply by turning a know. The base as pictured is 22 inches tall and the shade is 18.5 inches wide. The base weighs a ton and is super well made as most of b and h’s stuff always was. It has been recently rewired with period correct cloth cord and with no metalware damage at all. The shade with very nice glass, please see photos. The leading tight and right throughout and without any missing glass. I see a stress crack here or there as would be expected for a lamp this age. They do not detract from the overall appearance and are very tight. This shade will be around for another 100 years just the way it is and i mention the age stress purely for accuracy purposes. Total i see is around 5-6 which is quite good for a shade that has around 400 pieces in it. This is as arts and crafts as it gets folks. These are the only two i have ever seen before in 20+ years of being a lamp collector. Thanks for looking and please check out my other cool lamps I have up for sale now as well. So when I see your offers, I have to subtract those costs to get to my net. The costs can be up to 250.00 per item depending on the final price. I will be offering my lamps as reasonable as possible so as to 1. Not cause sticker shock like so many other sellers, 2. To sell them and not let my inventory sit around for years on end. Thanks for checking this great lamp out and please check out my other great lighting options as well. Zone two would be 75.00 times 20% which equals 15.00 which is added to the 75.00 and becomes 90.00. Zone three is 75.00 times 33% which is 25.00 which then becomes 100.00 for zone three. Sorry to do this and I hope you will stay on as fine and loyal customers. We may be able to hand deliver this item ourselves. What that means is this. If you live in the following radius or just outside it, we should communicate about not using a major carrier, so it has a better chance of survival and minimizing damage or a damage claim as well. In other words, a minor blemish on some metalwork belonging to a large shade or a 1/16 by 1/16 of a paint flake missing, please try and be reasonable. I always describe the important aspects towards condition reports and sometimes my eye misses what I deem immaterial issues such as the aforementioned sentence. Thanks for your understanding. There are a few things in life we cant do without. Food, water, fire, oxygen, the sun, shelter etc. So when it comes to shelter and necessary light for it, thats where I come in. I believe in living simply and within my means but surrounded by items of great quality. Of and the wasteful utilities that go along with that. So why is it people go out and spend. Not to mention you got the same usage for that entire time period? This makes infinitely more financial sense than the other choice, plus you have a conversation piece in the room and something to be proud of. Also you have more cultural feeling invested in something 100 years old knowing that it can never be duplicated by modern making techniques and knowing there a few, if any, like it left for this world and now its yours. You display it and care for it. So again thats where I come in. Great period lighting when electricity was still in its infancy. When makers like Bradley and Hubbard, Handel, Tiffany studios, Pairpoint, and others cared about quality, appearance, and function. When makers were trying to outdo one another with this new business boom of electric lighting. When we went from whale and kerosene oil lamps and gas, to electric. This is when the best lamps in the world were manufactured and the ones I want to light my home with when its dark. I cant control the sun or the amount of light it provides or when it comes up or goes down, and whether its cloudy or not, but I can control the light in my home when its dark. And like I said earlier, I want nice rugs, paintings, pottery, furniture, etc. And I want to see those items lit by great lighting. Its what makes a home more outstanding and livable because without it you see absolutely nothing. A quality lamp makes or breaks a room. You can have the best rugs, furniture, paintings, and accessories in the world, but without great lamps or lighting nobody will ever see it. Antique Rose Slag Glass 8 Panel Table Lamp Shade, & Signed Rainaud Base

Antique Rose Slag Glass 8 Panel Table Lamp Shade, & Signed Rainaud Base

Antique Rose Slag Glass 8 Panel Table Lamp Shade, & Signed Rainaud Base. This is a Fantastic Original Finish Rose 8 Panel Caramel Swirl Table Lamp Shade & an Old Signed Rainaud Lamp Base also original finish. The top of the base needs to be changed to except the shade. These two pieces came from the same estate the base had a cloth shade on it when found. I’m not sure that they go together and if they do why the person would change the top to take the cloth shade. The Slag Glass Shade was in a box and looks to me like it had not been on a lamp in years. The Shades frames colors match the base but the background colors are slightly darker on the base which I have seen on a number of lamps!! The shade has great Roses on all the panels and all the glass is in good condition. The only issue I see on the shades frame is one of the sets of tabs that hold the slag glass is missing, it still holds fine! There is also a shade cap that fits the shade and a finial both have an off color. If you have the part to put it together it will be a great lamp. The shade is 8 3/8″ tall 19 3/4″ at widest points top opening is 3 1/4″, the base is 22″ to top of harp and total weight of all is 12 pounds. Thank you for your interest! In the case of a Holiday it may take a bit longer!!! But don’t expect to find anything remotely Victorian!! So please try to be somewhat kind because sadly it’s really easy to hurt us with those star ratings!! I Do Also Except E-Check!!! The absence of a condition statement on effects of normal aging does not imply that the item is in like new condition or completely free from wear and tear, small imperfections or the effects of aging is present in 99% of all antique and vintage collectible items. I SELL VERY ECLECTIC MIX OF FINE QUALITY LIGHTING MOSTLY OIL LAMPS BUT ALSO CLOCKS!! I CHECK THEM OUT WELL AND TRY TO EXPLAIN THEM AS BEST THAT I CAN, PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES WELL!!! SO IF YOU ARE NOT SURE PLEASE PASS ME BY THERE ARE OTHER LAMPS OUT THERE!! I’M SORRY TO HAVE TO ADD THIS POLICY BUT I’M SURE TRUE LAMP LOVERS WILL UNDERSTAND MY REASONING ON THIS ONE!! These types of lamps are very desired and I think you can see why. What a cool design and great look. Its a smaller lamp and as such more multi purpose. The base measures 19 inches tall and has no damage or issues. Its got its original patina throughout and its in very nice condition. The base without damage of any kind and in fine working order. It’s been recently rewired with period style and correct cloth cord and is signed on the bottom. The shade measures 13.5 inches wide. The shade in very nice overall condition and has no glass breaks or cracks and the filligree all in place and also without losses. The shade not out of round at all and i see no breaks in the metalware. All in all a very nice and fairly hard to find Bradley and hubbard lamp. I have for sale this exceptional twice signed handel leaded supersized arts and crafts lamp. Twice signed means both shade and base being properly signed. This is a great lamp and its in a seldom seen size as well. The base measures a whopping 31.5 inches tall and the shade is 24 inches wide. The very desired gooseneck base without issue, which means no metalware breaks or damage and its in fine working order. It has its original three harvey hubbell sockets with their acorn pulls and its been recently rewired with correct period style cloth cord. This base is also a more rarer find when it comes to handel and its a very desirable one for that reason. Its also in excellent original patina. The shade in excellent original condition with all pieces of glass present and accounted for. The shade a perfect example of an arts and crafts design. Please study the pattern as its really exceptional. The glass warm and subtle and perfect for that arts and crafts style living room. It will command it for that reason as well as the size of it also. The shade very sturdy and well made with the leading showing no signs of weakness nor losses. The shade signed with a handel metal tag on the upper portion and the base signed on the bottom as it should be. A few tight age stresses here or there around the border glass but not noticable at all unless you have your face up to it and your specifically looking for them. These expected as well for the size of the lamp and the fact that its a 100 years old item. I would more nervous if they werent there lol. Maybe 8-10 total out of 400 pieces of glass and i merely reference them for the super picky who thinks all antiques should be perfiect after 100 years of age and use. This lamp is a full sized lamp measuring in at 22 inches tall with the shade being 17 inches wide. Please notice the strap form base with rivots. This is about as arts and crafts of a lamp that you will ever see and the base in a great original frogskin green patina throughout and without any metalware damage at all to speak of. The sockets had to be updated due to age and stress and for safety reasons. The shade without any broken glass or chips and the filligree overlay all present and accounted for and without any breaks at all. This is very deep and dark green glass and lights up 10 times better than my photos depict. This lamp deserves to be put on a great stickley or limbert table and it will command complete attention i promise. Wilkinson overbuilt everything they ever made and this is no exception. Its a user friendly mid sized lamp measuring in at 21 inches tall with the shade being 14 inches wide. Both base and shade in original patina and the base needing no excuses as there id no metalware damage to speak of. Its recently rewired and in fine working order. Sockets replaced as the original ones were way to hurt and unsafe. The shade with that fantastic red border glass and soft caramel upper panels to compliment it further. No breaks in any the the original glass. The shade very heavy and sturdy as is the way for wilkinson lamps. A couple of small screws missing which is easy to replace and a little frame damage (please see photos). As such there is some very minor border filligree loss. The lamp displays very very nicely and will certainly be around for another century or two. Recently I have been putting different lighting on with reserves and no reserves. Please Check out my other items! Some great Bradley Hubbard, Tiffany, Handel, etc. To all potential buyers. Please feel free to. Chances are if there aren’t any, it’s a newer item and you shouldn’t want it anyways.
