American Art Deco Slag Glass Antique Table Lamp
This is an early 1900s metal lamp (looks to be bronze but I cannot be certain) designed in the Art Deco style in USA. The shade is created from pink Slag glass with ornately decorated banding. There is some blue ish corrosion to the feet suggesting it is an alloy of copper so brass or bronze etc. Completely rewired with braided 3 core Italian cable, brass B22 switched bulbholder and UK 3A plug. The original green slag glass is free of chips, cracks, or repairs. The shade has tabs to secure it and somewhere in it’s life it had been epoxy in some junctions to add in the support of each panel.
