A Gorgeous Antique / Vintage Glass. No chips or cracks. Solid and well-made, the details are all non-magnetic (brass). A nice large size for use on a floor lamp, a large table lamp, or add hardware to hang it from the ceiling. No lamp or finial included – used for photos only. 18″ wide, 12″ tall, 9 top fluted edge. Antique Turquoise BLUE Slag Glass & Brass 13.5 Boudoir Lamp With Oval Cameos
Note: The cord has some residue on it of something which I do not know. This antique table lamp features a beautiful turquoise blue slag glass shade with oval cameos and a brass base. The lamp is a stunning example of Art Nouveau design from the 1800s, with shaded stained glass and a metallic finish. It measures 13 inches in height and 9 inches in width, with a corded electric power source and knob control. The lamp is in original condition, with no significant damage or wear. It would make a fantastic addition to any collection of patriotic or slag glass themed items. The lamp shade and bulb/tube are included, and the cord color is brown. This vintage lamp is sure to be a conversation piece and a unique statement in any room. Lamp works both bottom and top. No cracked slag glass. Heavy brass & glass. Antique Arts & Crafts Turquoise & Purple Stained Bent Slag Glass Lamp Shade WOW
This is a large antique arts & crafts bent slag glass and iron lamp shade in the most beautiful colored glass. It features gorgeous blues and purples. It dates to the late 19th century, approximately the 1890′s to 1900′s. Looks to be all original and in great condition with one hairline crack on a top small piece, see last photo. Measures 19″ wide x 11″ tall with the opening at the inside of the top at 6. This piece ships fully insured and free to the lower 48 states. This ships very very carefully packed and fully insured! Pioneered in England, slag-glass lamp shades became popular around the turn of the 19th centuries. This style incorporated streaked, opaque glass initially produced by incorporating slag from iron-smelting foundries. The look became common for paneled lamp shades with complicated metal filigree framing each slag-glass segment. Noted slag-glass lamp manufacturers include Bradley Hubbard, Wilkinson, Handel, and Miller.
