An truly outstanding all original very rare antique signed Tiffany Studios Zodiac desk lamp in excellent nearly perfect condition. Very heavy for its size made from solid bronze. The original bronze patina is in excellent condition. Tiffany studios was the finest maker of that era. The casting and overall quality of this lamp are second to none. Tiffany made several different Zodiac lamp models this model is one of the rarest and it has the pure white slag glass that acts as a reflector on the underside of the shade that is also extremely rare and in perfect condition. The original toggle switch on the base isn’t working so I bypassed it and it now turns on and off by a rotary switch on the cord. I’ve installed a new paper socket liner for safety. RARE Antique APOLLO STUDIOS Tree Trunk Copper Lamp Base SLAG GLASS Arts & Crafts
ARTS & CRAFTS MOVEMENT ERA. SLAG GLASS & COPPER SHADE. This is a very RARE and BEAUTIFUL antique lamp. This lamp is from my personal collection. I have downsized and do not have a place for this lamp. Therefore, it needs to find a new home. It is in overall, great condition. It has been rewired. The lamp does work as it should including the pull chains. The pull chains have the original acorns on the ends. The copper has a great patina of age. The slag glass is original. One of the thin pieces of glass around the perime. Ter of the shade has a crack (please refer to the photo for details). I always had that panel facing the wall so no one ever noticed. Otherwise, NO cracks or breaks to the rest of the glass. The shade leans just very slightly. The lamp is an overall 18 tall. The base of the lamp is 8 in diameter. The shade is 17.5″ in diameter from point to point and 14.5″ in diameter from straight panel to straight panel. In my 35 years of collecting, I’ve never seen another Apollo Studios lamp with a tree trunk base! Please take a look at the photos for details and consider them part of the description. A large incredible antique all original very rare J. Whaley mission arts & crafts solid bronze leaded slag glass table lamp in excellent condition. This is one of the most beautiful lamps on e-bay. This lamp is truly a very finely hand crafted work of art from a master craftsman. You rarely see this amount of detail in any lamp. You very rarely can find a all original lamp like this in this condition anymore. The original very rich green bronze patina is in excellent untouched condition with no damage to it anywhere. They used the some of the most beautiful slag you will ever see anywhere it is full of color and fire the photo’s truly don’t do it any justice at all. There are what appear to be three cracks in the very beautiful slag glass panels shown in the two last photos. They must be very tight cracks because you can’t feel them with your finger nail at all and you can’t see them at all unless the lamp is turned on that will go unnoticed. I’ve never seen anything like it before. They are close together and can be turned to the rear. The original bronze patina on the leaded is in excellent condition. The shade is in very sound and tight condition with no loose pieces of glass. The whole base and parts are constructed from solid bronze and it has a cast iron weight in the bottom of it making it very heavy and stable. A RARE & STUNNING ANTIQUE MISSION ARTS CRAFTS RIVIERE STUDIOS BRONZE SLAG GREEN & WHITE GLASS LAMP FROM THE TIFFANY ERA. IT LIGHTS ON THE TOP AND THE BOTTOM. THIS IS NOT THE SHADE YOU USUALLY SEE WITH THIS BASE BUT ITS HOW I FOUND IT IN THE ESTATE AND IT LOOKS GREAT. COULD BE A MARRIAGE OR A CUSTOM PIECE I DONT KNOW? Condition is amazing for its age. It has two very small issues. Lamp was rewired at some point and whoever did it cut a piece of sheet metal from underneath the base to have more room to do the wiring. It doesnt show (unless you turn the lamp upside down) or effect the stability. One of the panels has lost its metal glass support tabs and the glass is sitting in the groove but taped on the sides so it should probably be secured better. No chips or cracks in the glass. Lamp works but I wont guarantee the wiring. Looks good but youre responsible for checking it yourself. Shade is 14.5 across by 9.5 tall. I have for sale this very nice Handel arts and crafts mission style pine needle overlay floor lamp. This is not a common Handel size for a floor lamp and this one is in excellent original condition. The lamp shade is in excellent overall condition and needs no excuses. No glass breaks, no missing or broken filligree and no metalware losses or breaks. I have always loved these pine needle overlays and i hope you do too. The base is 53 inches inches tall to the top and the shade is 6 inches by 6 inches square. The base with very nice chocolate brown patina throughout and a great arts and crafts design. No dents, dings, nor damage of any sort on the base and the base stamped Handel on the bottom. Socket and turning knob replaced which is common with these especially after 100+ years and its been properly rewired with period style cloth cord and old style plug. A very warm looking floor lamp for an arts and crafts style room or home and perfect for the end of a couch for a reading light.
