Extremely RARE Handel Leaded Slag Stained Glass Peacock FLOOR Lamp Base
This is an EXTREMELY RARE, 100% original and authentic, Handel peacock floor lamp base. I have only ever owned one of these before…. They are super nice and very, vary rare. This is the FLOOR LAMP version. Large and impressive, this base stands 61″ tall and the bottom is 12 1/2″ in diameter. The base is cast bronze (not pot metal) and is in excellent, original condition with its original finish, no dents or dings, and is equipped with a great 4-socket long Hubbell cluster with original interiors and acorn pulls. This is as good as it gets in one of these, and there aren’t many out there (at least not guaranteed ORIGINAL ones). It does not appeared to be signed anywhere that I can see, but each peacock feather is stamped on the bottom with the number 2860. Tiffany Style Stained SLAG GLASS PEACOCK LAMP Table Desk Novelty Bird Light
For Sale: 2002 Peacock-Shaped Slag Glass Desk Lamp. Here is a stunning novelty lamp in the shape of a peacock with spread plumage. Beautiful stained slag glass body with interior metal sockets. This is a small lamp standing less than a foot tall. It is a modern 2002 lamp and is not vintage. Lamp was tested and works well. It has 2 light sockets: one pointed into the body and another pointed out to illuminate the plumes. The body light takes type B max of 25W, and the plume light takes type B max 40W. Please note that this lamp only ships to you with ONE lightbulb in the body socket. An extra bulb might break during transit whereas a bulb in the body is not at risk of damage. Also please be advised that replacing the inner bulb can be difficult especially if you have large hands. It looks like there is a nut under the metal bar the sockets sit on, so it may be possible to pull out the sockets during bulb installation, but I have not tried this. Antique American Oriental Peacock Slag Glass Table Lamp Bradley Hubbard Miller
We are listing for your consideration a lovely Antique early 20th century American Metal Slag Glass 6 Panel Table Lamp with Oriental & Peacock Bird Decorations. This lamp is in Excellent Working Condition with some slight wear to the original paint on both the base and the shade. Two of the slag glass panels have some very slight small roughness to the one edge, you cannot see unless you look inside the lamp, the filigree panels cover it. The lamp has been rewired at some point. No other issues, you can refer to the pictures, we guarantee 100% you will be more than happy with the excellent condition. The lamp measures 24 1/2″ tall x 7 3/8″ at the base diameter. The shade measures 8 1/4″ tall x 3″ at the top hole that sits over the heat cap and finial x 17 1/4 wide and together with base weighs approximately 16lbs. The lamp is not marked, we are unsure of the maker, definitely Bradley & Hubbard Miller era. Wonderful colored marbled glass throughout and a great decoration in the filigree of an Oriental scene with 2 people, 1 seated, with 2 trees shrubs and a colored peacock. Great original paint coloring. This slag glass lamp would make a great addition to anyone’s collection and or home. Best of luck and thanks.
