Salem Brothers Arts Craft Mission 12 Panel Slag Glass Bradley/Hubbard Era Lamp
This Antique Signed Salem Brothers Lamp has been fully restored to its original condition. It has new wiring but still retains the original socket. It shows a African Sahara scene with Lions, Gazelle in the reeds. A cottage with billowing smoke and the towering Acacia Tree dominating each panel. The lower panels show the rich green grass with the top panels showing many different colors to represent the hues of the sky. There are 12 panels and all are in excellent condition. Each filigree panel are slightly different and show quality workmanship from a bygone era. The shade measures 18″ across and the overall height is 26″. This would most certainly be the focal point of any room, it is truly a beautiful lamp. Fine Quality Lamps from this era maintain their value and increase as time goes on. Bradley Hubbard Arts Crafts Mission Leaded Slag Glass Antique Handel Era Lamp
It features a rare Prairie style shade very much in the manner of Frank Lloyd Wright, or Greene and Greene. The shade measures about 14″x14″. Overall height is about 22 ½ to the top of the finial. The lamp has been professionally rewired at a UL approved shop. These have been replaced with correct Hubbell type and acorn pulls. The shade features three colors of glass. I believe the original finish on the metal would have been gilt as shown on the interior of the base. Now it has worn and mellowed to a lovely tone. Fantastic and scarce lamp.
