Large art noveau lamp with bent slag glass shade. This is a beautiful vintage electric table lamp. The lamp has a decorative heavy metal base with a single stem and two light sockets. Each socket has a chain pull. The lamp metals have a dark patina. The shade has a decorative metal overlay of trees in a forest scene with caramel color bent slag glass and blue slag glass inserts with a river and cattails and reeds. It has an on-off switch on the cord. The lamp is 25 1/2″ tall to the top of the finial and the shade is 21″ across and 12 high. We always recommend the wiring be replaced for everyday use. Art Nouveau Slag Glass Lamp. Being offered is a stunning antique Art Nouveau style slag glass lamp circa early 1900′s. This lamp is LARGE and impressive with 20 panels of glass, top section is a golden color, beige & yellow and the bottom row is a deep multi colored glass. Beautiful detailed overlay on the shade and a large cast brass base with raised leaves. Lamp has a great brown patina with some gold highlights. It has 4 antique Hubbell sockets, all work properly and it has been newly rewired with a period style plug & cord (there is an additional on/off switch on the cord so you don’t have to turn 4 sockets on every time you use it). Size, well it stands 29″ in height and the shade is 24″ wide. Base, finial and shade all original, no marriage here. I have seen this rare lamp a few times referred to as a Bradley & Hubbard but I see no marks. It is extremely well made and very heavy 28 lbs. Pictures just don’t do it justice. Large Magnificeint Slag Glass Lamp with Amazing Base
The huge base is finely cast spelter with a gorgeous design, and the shade has a grapevine growing along the bottom. It has it`s original glass with no damage. A truly magnificent lamp! It has 2 ball pull chain sockets and has been re-wired with cloth covered cord. It is unsigned and probably had a maker sticker on it that is long gone. 1910 Arts Crafts Extra Large Antique Green Slag Glass Table Lamp Fancy Base
Antique Arts & Crafts Large Green Slag Glass Table Lamp Metal Base Cir. This table lamp is all original as found. The shade has twelve pieces of curve green slag glass in a metal frame. The base is all metal with original electric sockets dated 1910 and has original pull chains. There are no cracks or breaks on the glass. The original brown finish is almost worn off the base and gone on the shade. The original green felt under the base is very worn. This lamp has been rewired by previous owner, sockets are original. The top of the shade mounting ring is slightly bent and the mounting ring on the top of the base is slightly bent also. There are two marker marks when aligned up, you will have a level fit on base and shade. I think the mounting bolt is not the original, only has a few threads to secure the top cap. There is even age wear on base and shade for being this old. There are a few heat cracks in the shade metal ornamentation. This is a large lamp that measures 25 1/2 tall. Shade is 20 ” across and the base is 6″ wide at the base. You will look a long time before you find another lamp like this. Please look close at the pictures as they are part of the description.
