Antique HOUZE Bridge Floor Lamp Uranium Vaseline CUSTARD Slag Glass Brass SWIVEL
This Antique HOUZE Bridge Floor Lamp is a stunning piece with a Victorian style design. Crafted from cast iron, brass, and glass, this extra-large lamp features a unique and colorful Uranium Vaseline Custard glass middle insert. Made in the United States in the early 1900s, this vintage lamp boasts intricate details and original parts, making it a prized addition to any collection. The lamp stands at 57.5 tall with an antique brass finish and a rotating head, making it both functional and visually captivating for anyone looking to add a touch of period charm to their space. Item has a very nice, vintage cord still intact and working. HOWEVER, I advise you to have this rewired for safety reasons! HOUZE lighting and lamps made the item, and Akro Agate made the glass insert. Glows very vibrantly using a normal 395nm UV black light. Very nice twisted stem, original metal pull chain, claw foot square base, and intricate, eye-catching detailing. The item measures roughly 57.5″tall × 11″ across the bridged arm top & 9″ × 9″ at the base. This is nice and very heavy! These are getting harder and harder to find! Item has holes in the flower petal like design, by the glass insert, for the option to hang gorgeous, uranium crystals from! The glass insert measures 8″ tall × 1.5″ wide × 1.5 long. Paper covered body has paper loss. Lamps work, but should probably be rewired. No shades are included. Only part that is glass is the base. The product is a set of two vintage Uranium Slag Glass Base Table Lamps in the Art Deco style. These antique lamps feature a green light color and a shaded design, with a corded electric power source and knob control style. Vintage Agate Slag Glass Double Socket Art Deco Table Lamp with Claw Feet Houze
Wonderful green with caramel streaks agate table lamp. The cord has been replace with a newer repro covered cord. The plug looks like older Bakelite. Nice brass double socket. I knew when I saw it that the brass had to be cleaned, and it turned out great. The finial is a art deco style with green agate ball. Wonderful example of this style lamp. I couldn’t find any marking, but it looks like others I’ve seen that were Houze. It may be uranium, but I have not tested it. The only chip I could find was a small one on the bottom of the ball at the base (see photo). 26 tall (from the base to the top of the finial). Most of my listings are estate sale finds and because I don’t know the history, I can’t guarantee they are from a pet or smoke free home. I try my best to review items for any defects, cracks or chips, and make a note of anything I find in my description. Most if not all antique and vintage pieces have normal wear and some irregularities from the manufacturing process, so please keep that in mind when you are purchasing a used item.
