ART DECO STREAMLINE CHROME AKRO AGATE SWIRL URANIUM GLASS TABLE LAMP 1930s. DESIGN: A striking and stylish Art Deco Streamline Chrome and Agate table lamp circa 1930′s. Built heavy duty and comprised of highly polished Chrome steel accented with molded geometric shaped sections of Akro Agate swirl glass (the same material & process used to make antique marbles). The contemporary replacement shade casts an ideal glow upon the translucent glass sections while complimenting the lamps overall design. CONDITION : This brilliant Deco table lamp is in exceptional original condition, completely intact and fully functional. Just very light signs of tarnish wear to the brilliant polished chrome with no abuse or repair evident, all glass sections are sparkling and blemish free. The original complete double pull chain socket lighting assembly has been inspected and appears safe and functional, t he power cord has likely been replaced at some time with insulated appliance grade wiring which appears to be completely safe & functional. DIMENSIONS: The assembly overall measures 25.5″ tall and 6″ wide at the base, shade is 9″ tall X 13″ in diameter. The bulbs are NOT included.
Vintage Agate Slag Glass Double Socket Art Deco Table Lamp with Claw Feet Houze
Wonderful green with caramel streaks agate table lamp. The cord has been replace with a newer repro covered cord. The plug looks like older Bakelite. Nice brass double socket. I knew when I saw it that the brass had to be cleaned, and it turned out great. The finial is a art deco style with green agate ball. Wonderful example of this style lamp. I couldn’t find any marking, but it looks like others I’ve seen that were Houze. It may be uranium, but I have not tested it. The only chip I could find was a small one on the bottom of the ball at the base (see photo). 26 tall (from the base to the top of the finial). Most of my listings are estate sale finds and because I don’t know the history, I can’t guarantee they are from a pet or smoke free home. I try my best to review items for any defects, cracks or chips, and make a note of anything I find in my description. Most if not all antique and vintage pieces have normal wear and some irregularities from the manufacturing process, so please keep that in mind when you are purchasing a used item. Antique Art Deco Houze Akro Agate Jadeite Slag Glass Double Socket Lamp no shade
Very nice art deco antique/vintage table lamp. The rest of the lamp is mostly cast iron and brass. All glass pieces are in very good condition with no damage. The stepped pryamid base is especially nice. This piece has been completely rewired using a cloth covered cord appropriate to the period. The dual socket head is old but the socket shells and sockets are new. Has a nice long cord. It stands about 30 inches high. The shade shown in the 1st pic is shown as an example only and is not included.

Antique Vtg Uranium Houze Slag Glass Coppered Cast Iron Table Lamp Art Deco. It features 2 sockets on lovely arched arms, and an adjustable center shade pole. It is not marked by a maker or model number; however I have been assured by a close friend of the Houze family the glass at least is Houze. It has an extremely bright glow under blacklight. The design is excellent for many rooms and a large variety of decor styles. It is copper on cast iron, I believe all cast iron. The center pole is brass. It has a neat deco finial as well. It makes this an excellent staple piece for your collection, one your friends definitely won’t have! A great collectors item, for use display gifting or decor. It is in good condition, with no major damage. Has some minor wear to the copper finish, no cracks or chipping. The cardboard around the sockets, meant to look like candles that are lit, has some deterioration- could be replaced. Thank you for your consideration, I appreciate your time.
