One very minor repair in side panel of shade as shown in photos. The lamp shade has filigree Web Pattern. Complimentary rib pattern in the base. The lamp has new rayon cord its Original Thumbwheel Knuckle Screws. The Shade is held Securely on the lamp base with Its 3 screws. Height of lamp 15 3/4. Mission arts crafts slag stained glass desk lamp handel bradley hubbard tiffany
A very beautiful original antique Handel student desk lamp in excellent condition. This lamp is very finely cast and made from thick solid real bronze making it very heavy. The original untouched patina is in excellent condition. The quality of the casting and overall craftsmanship of this lamp is outstanding throughout as shown. Both of the original turnkey light sockets are in perfect working order with a like new snap to the switches and still retain both of the original bronze turn keys that are always missing. There is a small dent in the lower edge of the base and a little ding on one of the shade holders shown in the last two photos. Both will go completely unnoticed. I never saw either of them until I took it out into direct sun light for the photos. All of the original shade holder thumb screws are present less one that that has a nice old screw in its place. It needs to be rewired, I have many more lamps to list and just don’t have time to do it. It stands 20″ tall by 15-1/2 ” wide. The base is 7-1/4 wide. Handel Arts & Crafts Leaded Stained Slag Glass Pink Tulip Desk or Accent Lamp
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. Here’s a very nice and pretty unusual Handel tulip table lamp. I say unusual since this version is much less common and. Than the standard green and white petal ones that are out there. This one has 5 pink/white petals with a much more realistic flower petal look than the simpler green and white oval shaped ones in their other lamps. I suspect that much fewer in this design were made. In any event, this is a great looking little desk or accent lamp It is in 100% all. Condition with no damage to any of the glass petals. Hubbell socket (to which the petals are soldered) with its original porcelain interior and acorn pull chain. The finish is all original as well with a reddish tint that matches the shade quite nicely. This finish is getting a bit worn on the high relief areas, but is still very nice overall. There is a faint HANDEL stamp on the underside (that I could not even picture) along with the model number 1217 and the word PATENTED. The lamp stands 14″ tall, is about 9″ wide and the shade is 6 in diameter. The lamp has been wired with period. Cord and is ready to use and enjoy. This is a nice and unusual example of an authentic Handel pink tulip lamp that is much less common than most out there. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. If you want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. If you are watching this just to watch and see if it sells, that’s fine. Fabulous Antique Art Deco Cast Iron Slag Glass Desk Boudoir Lamp Original Cond. This is a lovely late 19. Early 20 the century cast iron slag glass desk lamp in original condition. Lamp has matching base and shade. Base has 3 deco raised columns with fleur-de-lis, rim has raised fleur-de-lis, three sections between columns have raised flower bouquets. Stem has acanthus leaves, scrolls, and flower bouquets. The shade is stunning with six slag glass panels, very ornate frame with beads, flower urns, flower swags etc. The lamp has original finish, great condition for its age. It has original cast iron urn finial, fabric cord. It works just find as shown. The base has 4.5″ diameter, shade has 7.5″ diameter, lamp is 16 tall. Slag glass panels are in great shape without any cracks, hairlines, lamp also in great condition, most of the finish is intact. I see some tiny paint chips here and there. Fabric cord is bit frayed but still usable condition. We have been in antiques business over 30years. Due to health concerns we have closed our shop 2 years ago. Acquired from a storage sale close to home. I believe this lamp goes back to the early 1900s. Signs of wear are visible so please refer to the photos to hopefully get a general idea of state.
