Bradley & Hubbard is a name found on many metal objects. Walter Hubbard and his brother-in-law, Nathaniel Lyman Bradley, started making cast iron clocks, tables, frames, andirons, lamps, chandeliers, sconces, and sewing birds in 1854 in Meriden, Connecticut. Before it found large success with kerosene-burning lamps with glass shades in the 1870s, Bradley & Hubbard mainly produced clocks, along with call bells and sewing machines. The company became Bradley & Hubbard Manufacturing Company in 1875. Charles Parker Company bought the firm in 1940. There is no mention of Bradley & Hubbard after the 1950s. Up for sale is Antique. BRADLEY & HUBBARD Table Lamp. Green slag glass shade, decorated with beaded fringe. 22 tall and 15 ¼ in diameter. The lamp is good condition for its age, has some small issues: need to fix one socket, there are missed beads on the fringe(Ill send you extra beads to fix it) and there is crack on one panel of the shade, not noticed, see pictures. Antique Beaded Fringe Caramel Bent Slag Glass Shade Table Lamp 21 Tall As Found
ANTIQUE BEADED BENT SLAG GLASS TABLE LAMP MED SIZE 12″ SHADE 21″ TALL AS FOUND. Being Offered is this Awesome Looking Antique Caramel Slag Glass Lamp. This Ornate 1920′s Lamp features a 6 panel bent slag glass shade with beaded fringe on the bottom and 6 slag glass petals on the top, the shade sits on a wonderfully detailed cast spelter base that is painted gold. This beautiful old lamp stands approx 21 inches tall and the shade measures about 12 inches across at its widest point, it is approx 8 inches high not counting the beaded fringe. Lamp has two “Arrow” pull chain sockets that are in working order. The metal shade frame has had some repairs over the years and 2 of the slag glass panels are cracked, frame also seems to be a little out of round and lamp base has been repainted. Lamp also shows some age and wear but after all it is near 100 years old, in spite of its flaws it still Displays Magnificently and would be a great addition to your decor. Vintage Blue Marble Slag Glass hanging pendent light Fixture Antique Brass Lamp was bought it in Hollywood California from F. Designs many years ago. This is large, the bottom circumference is 23inches. It is an octogon shape, has 8 panels. There is beautiful beads going all around it. Age wear/finish loss on the tips of the crowns. See all photos as they are part of description. Chain and wire is approx 12in long and is not original (bezel has also been replaced) and can be easily changed to make longer if so desired.
