A 1920 era beautiful table / library lamp has an original shade with. Eight curved stained glass panels and is signed “A & R Co” (of Newark, NJ). The bronze toned filigree shade and embossed base have original hand painted details. Ovey floral design overlay on the shade matches base and finial. Two brass standard base sockets have pull chain switches. Lightbulbs are not included. The lamp is 22 tall. The shade is approx. Marbleized / slag glass panels are undamaged. Antique Art Nouveau 1920′s Miller Lamp Co. FIGURAL 8-Panel Slag Glass Lamp ORIGI. Antique Art Nouveau slag glass table lamp with metal overlay Shade. Opalescent, poly-chrome glass panels. The makers name or mark is found cast into the metal on the underside of the base. Lamp is marked “E M & CO” “708″ it is an Edward Miller lamp. No cracks or chips to glass. No dents, bends or corrosion. Some normal age wear to finish, the art Nouveau woman figure is rare & exquisite she measures 14 tall. I believe the metal finish is called French brown. This appears to have the original cloth cord with a new pug it works fine but I would have it rewired. It is an All Original Item. Antique Table Lamp with 8-Panel Slag Glass Shade Bradley Hubbard Miller Era
Cast Metal Bronzed Spelter Table. Lamp with beautiful matching ornament on base and shade. Shade consisting of 8 bent panels with metal overlay decoration. Total Lamp Measures 24” Tall. Shade measures 17 in Diameter. Heavy and very well made, weighs over 20 pounds. Original Condition, in excellent working order. Three panels on the shade have fractures, (please see last picture), overall the lamp displays absolutely beautifully. Lamp Measures 22 1/2” Tall. Shade measures 16 1/4” in Diameter. Antique Cast Iron 1900′s Slag Glass 8-panel Table Lamp As-is 1900′s
This antique table lamp dating from the early 1900′s, has an ornate cast iron base with 2 pull chain sockets, cap and finial and original eight panel shade with ornate filigree. Unsigned with “78″ cast on underneath side of base. Lamp is in as found used working condition. Base has no cracks or breaks and shade has one panel that has been replaced with newer glass that does not match at all (see pics)! Other slag glass panels are caramel and white. Also shade frame has separated at top ring edge between 2 panels and lower edge of 3-4 panels (see pics). In other words shade needs re-soldered and “tightened and squared-up”. This can be repaired along with having another glass panel made!! . All ornate filigree on shade is present. Lamp has a dark gold/bronze painted finish. Lamp does work with newer wiring. 24 tall and approx. Across bottom of base and shade is approx. Please look at pictures as they are a major part of description. Both the shade and the base of this antique, early 20th century, Slag Glass Lamp are marked by the Bradley & Hubbard Manufacturing Company. Overall, this lamp measures 23 1/2″ tall, and the 8-panel Slag Glass Shade measures 10 1/2″ tall by 16 1/4 wide. The caramel slag glass is original to this shade and all 8 panels are perfect with no restorations. The brass frame has an Arts & Crafts design and both the shade and the base retain the original surface. The base is weighted with iron and although it has some light surface wear, there are no other problems or restorations. The wiring looks to have been replaced during the mid 20th century and although this lamp works, we always recommend having vintage lighting checked out before using it in your home.
