Bradley and Hubbard Slag Glass Table Lamp. This is a very beautiful Bradley and Hubbard Lamp stamped on the bottom. 23 High with the Shade measuring 16 and the brass base is 8. As you can see the shade is in perfect condition and contains 6 panels. The shade is not marked. It has 2 sockets with the original pull chains. Rewired and in perfect working order. Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. Sadly, most are actually mis-attributed to this maker. This one, however, is 100% genuine Bradley & Hubbard, through and through. It is a wonderful example of their arts & crafts work with simple lines and deep colors. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here, but will note that the shade is in excellent all around condition without a single break in the glass and all of the filigree is completely in tact. This lamp was well cared for over its life! The shade is 18″ in diameter and the lamp, as it stands now, is 24″ tall (there is an adjustment screw on the main shaft that allows you to change this height if you desire). The base is in wonderful original condition and the texture of the finish almost makes it feel like leather. If has what appear to be its original Weber labeled sockets with their old interiors and has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and a nice old plug. If you have ever wanted a genuine Bradley & Hubbard leaded glass lamp and not one that someone just called a Bradley & Hubbard since they could not attribute it to anything else, this may be the one for you. Old Bradley & Hubbard Piano Student Slag Glass Lamp Works Neoclassical
Excellent Bradley & Hubbard patinated brass desk lamp with tented shade having green slag glass panels with metal overlay. Overlay is lattice work with ribbons and. Bouquets and possibly bell flowers and scrolls, very neoclassical. Is mounted on double yoke arms supported by a very ornate round base. I looked and found a Pat date of 1908 as shown. I believe the base is bronze and the tent shade is some other metal. Is not my area of expertise. Very good antique condition with some surface oxidation pull chain finial missing one glass panel broken and. Regaled/taped the other a couple nicks. Works great and is beautiful when lit as you can see. This lamp is about 12″ tall, 6 1/2″ diameter base. Each slag glass panel is about 7 3/4″ x 5 1/2″. One side of each shade is about 7.25 x 8.25 and the width from the support arms is about 10 wide. Very heavy desk lamp for its size. Items I sell are not new. 1908 Bradley and Hubbard 8 Panel Slag Glass Lamp Shade Excellent Condition. This is a really nice Bradley and Hubbard 8 panel slag glass lamp shade with a leaf design. The shade is 8 3/4″ tall and 17 1/4″ across the bottom. It has an octagonal 3 fitter and is marked Bradley & Hubbard Mfg. Co with a patent date of Oct 20 1908. The lovely caramel glass panels are all in excellent condition, two of the clips are missing but it does not affect the integrity of the lamp. There is some minor paint loss to the frame but the leaf pattern fretwork is intact. There is some green shading on the leaves I assume it is original to the shade. See my other listings. Offered is a old circa early 1900s Bradley & Hubbard 4 Light chandelier with a rare set of four scarce Murano Glass Overlay Shades free of any cracks. Couple corner nicks not worth mention. Measures approximately 24 wide 39 drop. This is a very scarce fixture with not many survivors. All original acorns finials intact as well as stamped original canopy. It appears this was painted many many moons ago. One could keep as found or restore. Wiring is original and will need replacing due to age. All worth the effort for this iconic piece. FRESH FROM LOCAL ESTATE, AN OUTSTANDING BRADLEY AND HUBBARD SLAG GLASS LAMP. THE SHADE IS SIGNED BRADLEY HUBBARD AND ALSO THE BASE IS SIGNED BRADLEY HUBBARD. YOU DO NOT FIND THAT TOO OFTEN. I BELIEVE THIS IS A STUDENT LAMP. IT HAS TWO SOCKETS. ONE SOCKET IS DATED 1907. ALL OF THIS IS SHOWN IN PICTURES. HEAVY LAMP, I BELIEVE CAST IRON. HAS GOLD TONE OR BRASS FINISH. YOU WILL FIND SOME LIGHT WEAR TO FINISH DUE TO AGE. JUST ADDS TO THE PATINA. THE BASE STANDS 19 IN. TALL WITHOUT THE FINIAL. THE BOTTOM OF BASE IS 9 IN. AT THE TOP OF THE BASE NEAR SOCKETS IS THE STANDARD TRIANGLE WITH BRADLEY HUBBARD INSIGNIA. I DO NOT KNOW IF CORD HAS BEEN REPLACED OR NOT. THE EXISTING CORD LOOKS TO BE IN GOOD CONDITION. COMES WITH NO LIGHT BULBS. THE GORGEOUS SHADE HAS 8 PANELS OF CARAMEL SWIRL SLAG GLASS , AND 8 RECTANGLE PIECES OF DARKER CARAMEL SLAG GLASS AT THE BOTTOM. AT THE TOP OF THESE SECTIONS ARE TWO HUMMINGBIRDS FACING DOWN WITH THEIR BEAKS IN TRUMPET FLOWERS. I FIND NO BREAKAGE OR MISSING OVERLAY. SHADE IS SIGNED AT EDGE OF METAL LIP WITH THE BRADLEY HUBBARD INSIGNIA ALSO. I SHOWED TWO PICTURES OF LAMP LIT. ONE WITH BRIGHTER BULB AND ONE WITH LESS. SHADE MEASURES ALMOST 12 IN. FROM BOTTOM EDGE TO TOP, WITHOUT THE FINIAL. ACROSS THE BOTTOM OF SHADE, SIDE TO SIDE. THIS WILL COME IN TWO BOXES FOR SAFETY SAKE. THE SHADE WILL BE MAILED PRIORITY AND THE BASE RETAIL GROUND. Bradley and Hubbard Victorian Slag Glass Brass Lamp with 4 Panel Shade c. The maker’s mark is on the lamp base at the bottom(worn but recognizable). Everything is in very good condition, no breaks, a few minor cracks on the shade but nothing that seriously detracts from the lamp. The lamp cord was replaced and is new, everything else is original. Bradley Hubbard Leaded Slag Glass Antique Vintage Arts Crafts Lamp Handel Era
If you are interested in this lamp for any reason, please CONTACT BEFORE MAKING AN OFFER so we can communicate at will and go on from there. Zone two would be 75.00 times 20% which equals 15.00 which is added to the 75.00 and becomes 90.00. Zone three is 75.00 times 33% which is 25.00 which then becomes 100.00 for zone three. Sorry to do this and I hope you will stay on as fine and loyal customers. That’s an unbelievable savings as well. The glass in this shade is pretty nice as you can see in the photos and i only used two 7 watt bulbs for the photos and look how vibrant the colors are. This is a full sized lamp in that its measuring 21 inches tall and the shade being 18 inches wide. The base is properly signed Bradley and Hubbard underneath the base plate and its in very nice original chocolate brown patina with all three period sockets matching one another and in fine working order. There is no damage at all to the very heavy and well made base. As for the shade that is also in very nice overall condition. Nice quality glass and as you can see it lights up very very nicely. A stray tight age crack here or there, but certainly nothing to be alarmed about as they are very tight and not going anywhere for another 100 years. I see maybe 2-4 thats all. All the leading tight and right and a very nice geometric arts and crafts pattern in the top part of the shade with a stylized flowers and green leaves in the lower part of the shade 360 degrees around the border. All in all a very nice arts and crafts style lamp, by one of the best makers there ever was and in very nice overall condition. You cant beat that. Of course if you would like to pick it up at my location that is welcome as well. We may be able to hand deliver this item ourselves. What that means is this. If you live in the following radius or just outside it, we should communicate about not using a major carrier, so it has a better chance of survival and minimizing damage or a damage claim as well. Beautiful Bradley & Hubbard Art Glass lamp c 1910. All clips in tact. No breaks chips damage to filigree. One Bryant pull chain socket working fine. Cloth brown cord & period style plug. Stands 19″ tall foot is 7″ Shade 13.5″ x 6″. The glass used to make the sky look real is amazing! I believe all glass in this shade. Hard to find glass if you seek it out.
