Leaded Stained Slag Glass Table Lamp, circa 1910-15, s. In very good to excellent working condition (i see only one heat line crack small green glass panel). The shade has 18 inches in diameter. The classic shape for Unique Lamp Co. Lamp base is tall 25 inches (including cap and finial) has slim trumpet design with three old sockets and pull chains with finials. Arts & Crafts Floral Leaded Slag Stained Glass Lamp Handel Duffner Tiffany Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a wonderful looking arts & crafts floral design leaded glass lamp on a solid bronze base. I love the look of this lamp….. Such an unusual two-tiered design. I have no idea who made it. It is not signed and the maker is unknown. But no matter the maker, this is just a really odd and beautiful arts & crafts lamp from the early 1900′s. I will let my pictures do the talking here since they can do a better job than I can about describing i. T, but will note that the shade is 14 1/4″ in diameter and the lamp (with the large ball shaped finial at the top) stands about 23″ tall. In terms of condition I don’t see a single hariline in the shade…… This one was very well cared for in its over 100 year lifetime! The shade is beautiful, well made, and in great shape. It is better than your average shade since it used heavily bent glass for the leaves which must have been very difficult to do. In addition, the choice of such. Glass for the flowers really sets this one off when it is lit. The solid bronze base is a form that I have not seen before. It has a cast iron wight in the bottom to give it additional weight and is supported by 4 round feet. The finish is a nice aged brass. The base has all of its original hardware including matching sockets (with their original interiors and ball ended pull chains, cap and final). Has has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and comes ready to use and enjoy. This is really nice and I suspect very rare arts & crafts looking lamp. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. If you want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. If you are watching this just to watch and see if it sells, that’s fine. Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a great looking arts & crafts lamp made by Duffner & Kimberly. I love the look of this lamp….. With the very flat. Style shade on a simple but very stylish solid bronze base. I will let my pictures do the talking here since they can do a better job than I can about describing i. T, but will note that the shade is 20″ in diameter and the lamp stands 24″ tall. Whaley, but I have never seen one exactly like it before and it is not signed. What I can say is that the shade was more difficult than average to make since ALL of the pieces are bent. That is the sign of a higher quality maker since it took a lot more time. The design and shape of the base remind me of Whaley which is why I think this one might be from them. In any event it is a beautiful lamp with a great design. I will let my pictures do the talking here but will say that the glass is all fine with no cracks or replaced pieces. The colors are very well done as well with a nice mix of caramel and green background with deep red 6-petal flowers. 16″ diameter shade; 20 1/2″ tall. The base has its original dark gold finish, original sockets, and original pan shaped cap. The lamp has been recently wired up and comes ready to use and enjoy. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. The sockets and pull chains are in fine working order and the base has recently been rewired with a period appropriate cloth cord and plug. The contemporary shade is full sized measuring in at 18 inches and is in very good condition as well with all pieces of glass present and accounted for. The leading throughout tight and right, and the glass of good quality. Also, as you can see, this shade lights up super well and its even better in person. No damage to speak of as to the shade. The base measures 21.5 inches tall and the shade is 16 inches wide. The shade is in very good condition with no breaks or cracks in the glass and all metal work in the filigree is in tact. No issues to speak of. The base without any metalware damage and in fine working order with its original patina and a nice hammered metal texture. Its been recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord and old style plug and sockets. Of course if you would like to pick it up at my location that is welcome as well.
