BROWN stained slag glass table/desk lamp from famous Arts & Crafts Era , circa an early 1900, s. Most popular and classic colors! In very good working order. Shade has 26″ x 14″ x 8,5″, lamp is 18″ tall. Has very nice an original patina , an original finish on an oak wood lamp base. Double old original sockets with original pull chain and finial, but were recently replaced inside /old ones were burned out/. All screws are present and are original. All parts are original. Up for consideration is this Rare Beautiful Antique Arts & Crafts Slag Glass Double Down Socket Table Lamp. It is in very good to excellent antique estate condition. We have married the base and shade. The base came out of a antique store in Carson City, Nevada. There are areas of patina or tarnish and scratches on the base (see photos). There are areas of the very fragile missing filigree metal (see photos). Please view all photos carefully as they are a part of the item description. It measure approximately 23 inches at hexagon shade and 34 inches tall. Thanks for viewing our listing! Base measuring 22 ½inches tall (with heat cap included) and approximately 7 ¾ inches in diameter, shade cap opening approx. Shade measuring approximately 17inches in diameter and 9inches tall large. A vintage floral design lamp from 1950s-60s. 3-light housing unit in perfect working condition. Lampshade, stem and lighting housing unit are original to lamp; unfortunately bronze lamp base was busted cracked then replaced, with cast metal bronze tone base. Seasons Greetings & Happy Holidays! Antique Arts & Crafts BRADELY & HUBBARD Brass 8-Panel Slag Glass Table Lamp NR. Both the shade and the base of this antique, early 20th century, Slag Glass Lamp are marked by the Bradley & Hubbard Manufacturing Company. Overall, this lamp measures 23 1/2″ tall, and the 8-panel Slag Glass Shade measures 10 1/2″ tall by 16 1/4 wide. The caramel slag glass is original to this shade and all 8 panels are perfect with no restorations. The brass frame has an Arts & Crafts design and both the shade and the base retain the original surface. The base is weighted with iron and although it has some light surface wear, there are no other problems or restorations. The wiring looks to have been replaced during the mid 20th century and although this lamp works, we always recommend having vintage lighting checked out before using it in your home. Lrg Antique 19thC Art Nouveau, Shaped Leaded Slag Glass Flower & Leaf Lamp Shade.. Originally, this large, 13 ½” wide by 10 ½” tall, Leaded Slag Glass Lamp Shade would have gone on top of a large kerosene lamp. The bottom brass collar measures 4 in diameter. It would not take very much to convert this late 19. Century, Art Nouveau Shade into a hanging shade. The flower is made from twelve caramel slag glass panels, each hand shaped into the design you see. At the bottom are six large and six long thin shaped pieces of dark green slag glass. Each of these twenty four pieces of slag glass in this antique shade has been hand formed and wrapped in leaded brass edging. Unsigned, this late 19. Century, Art Nouveau, Leaded Glass Shade is in very good original condition. I did from a couple of dirty sections on the inside where we are having trouble removing, but they do not affect how this lamp looks when it is lit. Arts & Crafts Prairie Style Mission Bradley & Hubbard Miller Slag Glass Lamp
I have never owned such a colorful slag glass lamp before! This is a really wonderful slag lamp! I wish I knew who made it but neither base nor shade is signed. It is possible one of the makers of the period like Bradley & Hubbard, Miller, Salem Brothers, or Empire could have done it. I would call it prairie style, but I suppose it could be mission or arts & crafts as well. What I can say is the shade has sort of a two tier look with brass overlay on the bottom depicting sort of a country scene. The shade is brass and measures 15 square. It is composed of green, purple/white. And bright red glass….. All granite backed to give the most fiery look possible. The glass has no issues and all of the filigree is just fine as well. The shade sits on a cast iron base with the same bright brass finish. It is unmarked other than for the two matching Bryant labeled sockets at the top. It has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and a nice old plug and comes ready to use and enjoy. Plenty of time to get it by Christmas! I think you will agree that it is well worth it to get it as pictured. All that being said. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me.
