Antique reverse painted Big slag glass lamp by Kiss Brothers lamp Co. Palm trees
Here we have a rare reverse painted slag glass lamp made by The Kiss Brothers lamp co. Out of Meridan, Ct. The slag glass panels are all in excellent original condition with no breaks or chips. The big base is made out of pottery and is in very good original condition. The base has the original brown paint. The are really small spots here and there where the paint has chipped off over the years. Not chips in the pottery base just where the paint has come off. Lamp is 24″ high and shade is 20″dia. This lamp look amazing when lit. The sockets and pull chains are original. The cord has some cracks in it so it be replaced. The panels are painted with palm trees and a small like boat dock. Vintage Art Nouveau Table Lamp Slag Glass Lamp Tulip Shaped Palm Leaf Hand Painted Lamp. Wonderful art nouveau form vintage electric table lamp that is decorated with jewel painted center with tulip shaped palm leaves surrounding bulb sockets painted green extending from the center. These 4 arms are the main lights and there is a fifth light in the base as well to give a glow to the ribbed multi color slag glass base. On/Off Switch is located on the base. All lights work (the 4 at top and 1 inside), takes normal size bulbs (bulbs not included). Lots of chipped paint and bare metal showing, some rust, most of original hand painting is present. Might have been handles on each side at some point, not present. Suggest changing old wiring in old lamps. Stands 18″ tall by about 19″ diameter at top arm section. Base is about 8 diameter. Vtg Wescal Tiffany Style Palm Tree Table Lamp Slag Glass Shade Stained Wood Base
Here’s a really unique original vintage palm tree lamp made by Wescal. I searched the internet and I could not find another one like it. I believe this is from the 1960′s. Perfect for a boho / surfer theme decor! The base is made out of real wood and is carved to look like a palm tree trunk. The shade is made out of green slag glass with white milk streaks in the shape of leaves, and is held together with leaded joints. This lamp measures 21 1/4″ tall, and the shade is 14 1/4″ in diameter. It is in working condition. The top of the harp is marked Wescal. Notice there are some cracks in the’trunk’ from age, still very solid though. There is a slight smoke smell that should come off with cleaning or just airing out (estate find). There is a switch on the socket. This lamp will be carefully packaged in a new heavy duty box and double boxed. All photos are of the actual item you will receive if you win.
