Arts & Crafts Chicago Mosaic or Lamb Brothers Leaded Slag Glass Table Lamp

This is a beautiful floral boarder leaded lamp that I believe to be made by either Chicago Mosaic or Lamb Brothers. Super look with a mix of red and pink flowers with green leaves against a pale caramel background. I will my pictures do most of the talking here, and from these you can see the very elegant and well thought out design of this beautiful lamp. This is a full sized table lamp with an 18″ diameter shade that stands 23″ tall. In terms of condition, I see only three ties at the top with minor hairlines…. Otherwise it is as perfect as the day it was made. The pot metal base has aarts & crafts looking design. It is heavy and sturdy with a wonderful dark greenish finish. It has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and comes ready to use and enjoy. Neither the base nor the shade is signed, and either Chicago Mosaic or Lamb Brothers would be my best guess as the company that made it. It is a wonderful, antique, 1920′s era lamp in very fine overall condition. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. Antique Arts Crafts 1913 LAMB BROTHERS & GREENE Leaded Stained Slag Glass Lamp
Up for sale is a stunning example of the LAMB BROTHERS & GREENE Leaded Stained Slag Glass Lamp. I believe this is a dogwood flower lamp shade. The lamp not the shade was advertised in a publication in 1913 see attached. I was informed the lamp and this shade were advertised in a Furniture trade review in May 1913 as well but I couldn’t find a copy of it. There are two slag glass panels with cracks but they are tight not loose cracks. Overall a stunning bronze lamp and slag glass shade of very high quality. This lamp measures approximately 24″ to the top of the finial the shade is approximately 18″ wide and 7 tall. HUGE Lamb Brothers Floral Leaded Slag Glass Lamp Handel Pairpoint Duffner
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is the largest and in my view been the nicest lamp design that Lamb Brothers & Green ever made. The design is just fantastic, especially with the prairie style shade with the very slim boarder. White daffodils with green petals against a nice caramel background just make for a terrific lamp. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here, and from these you can see multiple views of the lamp from different angles. In terms of size, this is a massive table lamp with an 22 1/2″ diameter shade that stands 27 1/2″ tall. I would call condition close to excellent with a few very minor cracks here and there (the two most significant are pictured with red arrows). The 2-socket, brass toned base is 100% original including its cap and finial. Has been recently wired comes ready to use and enjoy. Lamb Brothers did not sign their shades or bases so of course there are no signatures on these either. This is a very nice and clean example of a high quality stained glass lamp by Lamb Brothers & Green. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. C1915 Lamb & Greene leaded glass lamp. Stands 23″ tall foot is 9″ wide. Shade 16″ x 8″. 2 Hubbell acorn pull sockets. Olive Drab cloth cord & vintage plug. Has a couple straight line heat cracks about 3 that do not affect the good looks of this lamp just proves it’s real and old. Nothing smashed or falling out. In very good condition for a more than 100 year old shade. Nice drapery styling good blend in colors for most homes. One very nice example of the craftsmanship of the past when people really made things to last a lifetime. RARE Lamb Brothers&Greene Co. Chicago, Leaded Caramel Slag Stain Glass Table Lamp
“RARE” Authentic Genuine Lamb Brothers & Greene Co. Chicago, c1900 Leaded Caramel Slag Stain Glass Table Lamp. The circular base is copper plated spun sheet brass in a deep brown patina-the base has some wear and scratches due to use and age. The base supports a three socket cluster witch -2 are Hubbell sockets with acorn chain pull strings and one has been replaced and is not working which needs adjustments(this is the only part that has been replaced and the rest of the lamp is all original). The heat cap is spun brass with acorn finial. The shade is lead filled caramel color slag glass with insertions of red stain glass jewels. There are 3 pieces of the slag glass that has slight heat cracks in the caramel glass. All of the slag glass is surrounded with lead and very secure and solid in place(nothing is loose). MEASURES: The shade- 17 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ Pole- 22″ x 9″ Complete lamp from top to bottom- 27″ x 17 1/2″. ALL ORIGINAL EXCEPT ONE SOCKET! We have taken more then 12 pictures which 12 is the amount aloud. Pristine Lamb & Greene leaded glass lamp- Handel Tiffany Arts Crafts era slag
One of the very best Lamb Bro. & Greene Nappanee Indiana. LB&G outlasted most of the big name makers of the time. They made quality leaded lamps no to baroque and more attractive to mainstream America. Many of their best were the Art Deco designs into the 1920′s. They are working on a museum in Nappanee to showcase LB&G lamps. This example comes with original base cap & finial. That is what I believe makes many of their shades hold up without heat cracks. The lamp is clean and ready to use. Stands 21″ tall, 6.5″ wide foot. Shade is 16″ x 8″ deep. I’ve personally always felt this shade is one of their best! One of the BEST Lamb Bro & Greene Leaded glass lamp. Stands 21″ tall 9″ foot. Shade is 18 x 7. 2 pull chain sockets working fine. Wired with a brown period style cloth cord & vintage plug. NO fractures no repairs. One thing Lamb was good at, longevity. Many of their shades stand the test of time. Beautiful base similar to many Unique Arts bases.
