We view lamps as more than lighting, we view them as art. As more than a way to brighten a room, a way to brighten ones day. Up for consideration is this Awesome Antique Arts and Crafts Egyptian Style Mission Style Beige and Brown Slag Glass Table Lamp. Featuring Camels, Pyramids and Palm Trees. It features switch positions that light upper, lower or both. Also stating he worked on sets, and said this lamp was used on the movie set of’Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolf’. He stated it was damaged on set and offered to him, if he wanted it. If you view the last photo, you see there are reproduction lamps for sale. These lamps are not slag glass, they are stained glass joined using Tiffany’s method, to hold in place. It is in very good antique estate condition. There are age related patina or tarnishing of the metal (see photos). It had one broken slag glass panel, which was replaced. Also the bottom metal frame is bent slightly inward (see photos). There are two beads missing on two lower corners (see photos). We also changed the finial (see photos). Please view all photos carefully as they are a part of the item description. Vintage Signed Bradley & Hubbard Slag Glass Palms Design Deco Nude Lamp Base. Total Height is about 15 1/2. Shade Is marked Bradley & Hubbard. Shade is about 5 1/2″ in height not including the beads, 8″ wide in the bottom, and 2 3/4 wide on top. It seems the beads around the shade have been added later on and they can be easily removed. Shade is standing on a deco nude base which is marked and patented (hard to read) it is so old. Please review all my pictures they are part of my description. This is a very beautiful antique Slag Glass Table Lamp. Antique double-socket with an intricately detailed design of Camels & Palm Trees. The Lamp must be rewired for use. It was illuminated only for the purpose of showing the lamps beauty. The Lamp is 23″ high X 17 3/4″ wide X 16 deep. The shade is 17 3/4″ wide x 16″ deep 7 1/4 high. The base is 9″ x 10″. The copper shade shows discoloration and the glass is cracked in several areas, please see photos. A very special old lamp. We welcome the opportunity to serve you. BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE SLAG LAMP SHADE. THIS ANTIQUE SLAG GLASS LAMP SHADE FEATURES CREAM AND BLUE PANELS WITH HANDCRAFTED METAL OVERLAY DEPICTING MIDDLE EASTERN DESERT SCENES. THE CORNERS ARE ADORNED IN RAISED METAL BEADING. THE SHADE MEASURES 11″ SQUARE X 11″ TALL AT ITS PEAK. THE LOWER PANEL OF ONE SIDE HAS INTERNAL CRACKING. THIS IS VERY DIFFICULT TO DETECT AND DOES NOT AFFECT ITS STABILITY. I HAVE SHOWN CLOSE-UPS IN PHOTOS 6, 7 AND 8. THERE ARE NO OTHER CRACKS, BREAKS, OR REPAIRS.
