HUGE Antique Arts & Crafts Handel / Unique Leaded Slag Stained Glass Table Lamp
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a very nice Handel/Unique leaded glass periwinkle style table lamp. Great composition of pink flowers and granite backed leaves against a predominately caramel colored background. The rather large and deep shade features the desirable irregular boarder made with the leaves…. Many people find this more attractive than a standard flat bottomed shade. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here and as you can see from them the lamp displays extremely well and would look awesome in any setting. In terms of size, this is a large table lamp with a 18″ diameter shade that stands 23 1/2″ tall. In terms of condition, I see a couple of small cracks here and there, but nothing serious. There are no replaced pieces and the shade has that nice rattle of an old and original lamp. Patina on both the shade and base is just outstanding. For those of you who are new to this, the shade was made by Unique and the base is Handel. The shade is not signed (no authentic Unique ones were), but the base is prominently signed HANDEL on the bottom as shown. The base has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and a nice old plug and comes ready to use and enjoy. Arts & Crafts Floral Leaded Slag Stained Glass Lamp Handel Duffner Tiffany Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a wonderful looking arts & crafts floral design leaded glass lamp on a solid bronze base. I love the look of this lamp….. Such an unusual two-tiered design. I have no idea who made it. It is not signed and the maker is unknown. But no matter the maker, this is just a really odd and beautiful arts & crafts lamp from the early 1900′s. I will let my pictures do the talking here since they can do a better job than I can about describing i. T, but will note that the shade is 14 1/4″ in diameter and the lamp (with the large ball shaped finial at the top) stands about 23″ tall. In terms of condition I don’t see a single hariline in the shade…… This one was very well cared for in its over 100 year lifetime! The shade is beautiful, well made, and in great shape. It is better than your average shade since it used heavily bent glass for the leaves which must have been very difficult to do. In addition, the choice of such. Glass for the flowers really sets this one off when it is lit. The solid bronze base is a form that I have not seen before. It has a cast iron wight in the bottom to give it additional weight and is supported by 4 round feet. The finish is a nice aged brass. The base has all of its original hardware including matching sockets (with their original interiors and ball ended pull chains, cap and final). Has has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and comes ready to use and enjoy. This is really nice and I suspect very rare arts & crafts looking lamp. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. If you want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. If you are watching this just to watch and see if it sells, that’s fine. John Morgan Arts & Crafts Leaded Slag Stained Glass Lamp Handel Duffner Era

Simple yet sophisticated with fantastic yellow colored panels that just glow when lit. Shade is basically flaw free with all original bent slag glass panels that use granite backed glass. 16″ diameter shade; 18 1/2″ tall. The simple trumpet style base has its original dark green finish, matching sockets with satellite end pulls, and original finial. Now before you ask me….. The lamp has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and a nice old plug and comes ready to use and enjoy. Beautiful 3 x signed Handel Sunset overlay palms. Stands 25″ tall foot 8″ wide. Shade is 18 x 9. Last 3 photo’s are signatures. One under foot of base. Fine Handel Leaded glass lamp signed base Tiffany Duffner arts crafts slag era
Price is good and price is the price. No offers I’ve lowered the price to my best offer price I could do it’s a solid beauty and worth every penny. Gorgeous Handel Leaded glass lamp! Signed HANDEL on back side of base (see pics) Shade: there are a lot of “so called Handel shades” there were a mess of knock off Handel shades in the 1980′s and 90′s. The shade is solid and well made Handel style aperture ring. One way to tell the knock offs is the ring will NOT fit a Handel cap. This one fits perfectly. Leading looks aged inside and out. The eye of the flowers. Newer made shades, eyes in flowers are beads of glass. Old shades eyes are cut pieces of glass, as with this shade. Foot is 8 wide. Shade 18.5″ wide 8″ deep. Normal 3 5/8 Handel aperture. 3 Hubbell pull chain sockets all with acorn pull chains. Wired with a period style cloth cord & vintage plug. Bring a little SPRING into your home early! Unique Arts leaded glass shade Handel Tiffany duffner arts crafts slag era
LARGE Unique Handel leaded glass LAMP SHADE shade only no base! Shade large 20″ wide 9″ deep. Aperture 3 5/8 fits Handel cap. The entire shade is beautifully leaded with patina on all the leading very similar to what you find on a Tiffany shade. The glass is welcoming soft green/yellow hints bring a little spring into your home esp this time of year. The floral Glass is what I have seen on unique shades made for Handel most of the time they don’t have such beautiful glass.
