Arts & Crafts, Stickley, Limbert Handel Era Leaded Stained Slag Glass Lamp, circa 1910 – 20, s. Shade has 20 inches in diameter, on upper level two small heat line cracks, on lower level 3 small heat line cracks ; has very strong structure, no loose glass panels. AS YOU COULD SEE VIA PICTURES VERY INTRICATE COLORS AT DAY OR NIGHT LIGHTS. Lamp base has 26 inches tall, very nice and original gray – black patina. Whole lamp was made in strong design of Arts & Crafts Era. Three sockets are original with original pull chains and finials, heat cap and finial also are original, of course has some very light signs of usage for lamp over 100 years old, but nothing serious. Arts & Crafts Bigelow & Kennard Leaded Slag Stained Glass Table Lamp -Handel Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. Just take a look at this wonderful little lamp that just came in. The cap is also very characteristic of that company. It is absolutely a period 1900′s shade and sure looks like Bigelow & Kennard, but is not signed so I cannot guarantee it. These guys usually signed their shades, so why this one is not signed is unknown. Regardless of this, the shade is just over the top beautiful and has some of the best green/blue glass in any shade I have ever owned. This glass contrasts very well with the floral boarder which reminds me of Tiffany’s acorns and banded florals. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here and as you can see from them the lamp displays extremely well and would look awesome in any arts & crafts setting. In terms of size, the shade measures 16″ in diameter and the lamp stands 21″ tall. In terms of condition, I see maybe a crack or two here and there, but nothing serious. There are no replaced pieces and the shade has that nice rattle of an old and original. The base is solid brass (as all Bigelow & Kennard bases were) and is quite heavy and well made. It has its old sockets and matching Bryant shells with Bryant turn keys and has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and a nice original plug. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. 1910 Arts Crafts Mission Jewel Sgnd Bradley Hubbard Slag Glass Panel Bronze Lamp. Here we have a wonderful Late 1800′s /early 1900s Slag Glass Lamp. It is signed on the shade with the Bradley & Hubbard Hallmark. The lamp Base is made of Bronze metal with a BEAUTIFUL Aged patina bronze Patina finish. When lit up the lamp gives off a beautiful glow. This was ORIGINALLY a GAS Lamp Fixture. It has been changed over to electric for convenience & use. This has several haed to find & high quality upgrades when it was manufactured. Such as being an 8 panel instead of the common six panel. The added geometric filigree at the top & bottom of the panels. The fact that it is/has split multi-colored glass panels instead of the much more common all one color slag glass. This item is part of a recently acquired private collection. We will list in a few next weeks-antique, vintage art glass, lamps & others!!! The item came from clean home where it was cared for and displayed for the enjoyment of others. Unseen before it is now offered for a quick sale. Please ask any questions! The metal frame was made in leaves and a few clusters of wild yellow and pale red roses. All slag glass panels are original. Having nice an original verdigris patina/please look at the pictures/.. Most popular and classic colors! In very good working order. Shade has 18″ in diameter , lamp base is 25″ tall. All parts are original, original heat cap, original cluster with three “HUBBEL” old sockets with pull chains. Very nice an original antique copper finish patina , typical wear and minor losses to painted decoration commensurate with age. Shade has been soldered around the top but still has strong structure. 1910 Arts Crafts Extra Large Antique Green Slag Glass Table Lamp Fancy Base
Antique Arts & Crafts Large Green Slag Glass Table Lamp Metal Base Cir. This table lamp is all original as found. The shade has twelve pieces of curve green slag glass in a metal frame. The base is all metal with original electric sockets dated 1910 and has original pull chains. There are no cracks or breaks on the glass. The original brown finish is almost worn off the base and gone on the shade. The original green felt under the base is very worn. This lamp has been rewired by previous owner, sockets are original. The top of the shade mounting ring is slightly bent and the mounting ring on the top of the base is slightly bent also. There are two marker marks when aligned up, you will have a level fit on base and shade. I think the mounting bolt is not the original, only has a few threads to secure the top cap. There is even age wear on base and shade for being this old. There are a few heat cracks in the shade metal ornamentation. This is a large lamp that measures 25 1/2 tall. Shade is 20 ” across and the base is 6″ wide at the base. You will look a long time before you find another lamp like this. Please look close at the pictures as they are part of the description.
