This 1920s Art Deco eight slag glass panel table lamp is made of heavy cast metal (base, stem, and shade frame), spun sheet metal (shade holder), and iron rods (shade holder). The slag glass shade frame and lamp base have been restored in bronze metallic. The slag glass panels are blue with swirls of white and lavender. They are original and are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. This classy Art Deco slag glass lamp stands 23 tall and has a 18 wide shade. The lamp base is 8 at the widest. It is rewired with new brown cloth covered cord and has a repro bakelite polarized plug. It weighs just over 14 lbs. Light bulb not included. This 1920s Art Nouveau double-light table lamp was made by Bradley & Hubbard (the B & H triangle logo is on the cast iron socket section see photo). The base, loader and finial are cast iron. The lamp stem and shade frame are made of heavy cast metal. The lamp has been restored to its original antique nickel color with rolled brass upper tube & socket covers. The slag glass panels are blue with swirls of lavender. They are original & all are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. This very classy Art Nouveau slag glass lamp stands 21 tall and has a 14 wide shade. The lamp base is 8 wide. 1920s Scrolled & Cut Metal Arts & Crafts Style Table Lamp Slag Glass Shade
1920s Scrolled & Cut Metal Arts & Crafts Style Table Lamp; Slag Glass Shade. A rare survivor – an all original, early 20th century table lamp. Heavy cut iron corners on the base with scrolled metal sheets making up the side panels. The shade is also cut metal with implied rivets, and a scrolled top. The finish is a mottled black and green. The glass panels in the shade are mostly an oxblood color, mixed with light and bright greens. Two long pulls from the original cluster socket. One pull has the original acorn-style pull, while the other is a replacement bell shape. Aside from the wiring, all original. The painted finish is on everything but the sockets. From one of those increasingly rare types of estates – one with items from several generations in one house. The lamp works and both pulls operate smoothly. The wiring is not new, and could use replacing. The finish has some wear at the base – a couple of rust spots and paint loss at the low point of one of the base’s scrolled sides. The scrolls at the top of the shade do not all line up perfectly, but this appears to be because they were done by hand. 27 tall to the top of the finial. Base is 14 tall to the top of the scrolls. The base is 7 from corner to corner. The shade measures 12″ wide at the bottom, and 4″ at the top. The scrollwork is 5.5 from corner to corner. All items come from a smoke free home. This 1920s Art Nouveau desk lamp is made of very heavy cast metal (lamp base & shade frame) with a brass’corduroy’ tubular arm and cast brass adjusting knuckles at each end of the arm.
