Set of Antique Purple Slag Glass Lamps
Beautiful matching set of 3 vintage slag glass table lamps. I’m unsure of the metal used but it’s a softer metal, I believe it’s lead or a pot metal. The metal bases and shades are pliable so they can be shaped. They are not perfectly symmetrical. One of the matching pair of lamps is slightly leans to one direction. This can be addressed by reshaping the somewhat pliable base if wanted otherwise it has quite a bit of character AS-IS. The metal tabs are folded over to hold the glass panels in place. These fold very easily. The glass is a purple with lavender streaks, depending on the lighting. All 3 lamps work as they should, the tall one was recently rewired due to damaged cord. They can be lighted on top, bottom or both. 6 panels above and 4 panels below. Tall lamp measures approx. 17-1/2″ H x 15″ W, base measures: 6″ x “6In. The matching pair measures approx. 13″ H Shade: 11″ x 9In. Each base measures: 5.5″ x 5.5″In. These lamps will likely be mailed in 3 boxes but thats to be determined. Antique Cast Iron Slag Glass Mission Arts and Crafts Night Light Miniature Lamp
This stunning little light is an oddity. I have not been able to find another example. It measures 5.25 inches tall. The shade is painted tin and slag glass. The base is cast iron. The only mark is pat applied for on the the shade. It is in excellent condition. I plugged it in for the photos, but the cord is very old, appears original and needs replacing to be safe. Tiffany Studios Lamp Co. Bronze, leaded, Slag, Stained Glass Shade, Handel Lamp Era
Up for consideration is a very nice Signed Tiffany & Co. This base is Bronze with a dark brown patina with some patina wear as shown. The base stands 23 tall and the foot is 7 1/4 in Dia. The cluster has 3 Turnkey Bryant mica interior sockets. The bottom plate marked Tiffany & Co. The shade will will accept a 3.5 aperture. The Cap is a Repo Tiffany cap. Theres no threaded stem for the cap. So that will be needed to attach the cap to the wheel. The base is in very good condition and has been rewired with period cloth wire with old plug. I do have a 5 shade rest wheel that can be swapped out for the 3 1/2 wheel and cap. I dont have a 5 cap just the shade rest. The item “Tiffany Studios Lamp Co. ANTIQUE arts & crafts LAMP slag stained glass TWELVE PANEL brown mission 1910
ANTIQUE AND NOT A CHEAP REPRODUCTION! Made in the USA circa 1900. Made of all metal and stained glass. 12 BEAUTIFUL SLAGS IN ALL. (green, pink, beige) It has a mix of cast iron and worked metal. You will need 1 twist bulb found at any hardware store. You can use incandescent, LED, or even CFL type. LOOKS FANTASTIC WHEN BACK LIT OR EVEN WHEN NOT LIT! None of the 6 pieces of slag glass have cracks. The socket works as it should with no issues. The cord is free of any shorts. The recently refinished brown metal body is in good shape with light signs of age. The cord looks like it is a replacement from around the 1960′s. Three set screws fix the shade level and nice and tight. Two of the green slags are a little more transparent than the other two. 13 1/2″ wide and 23 1/2″ tall. It will will be protected very very well and insured. Let me know if you have any questions.
