Antique Vintage Arts & Crafts Mission 4 Panel Green Slag Glass Table Lamp with Dark Wood. It is about 24 1/2″ tall and the shade is about 16″ x 16. This lamp is in GREAT condition. Rare STICKLEY Era ARTS & CRAFTS TABLE LAMP MISSION OAK Craftsman Wood Slag Glass
A Mission Architectural TABLE LAMP Mission Oak/ ARTS & CRAFTS / Craftsman LAMP. This is a Stunning LAMP for any room. This is a MUST HAVE very Handsome LAMP! Lamp is made from Tiger Oak with marbelized Stained Glass Panels in a Caramel brown. A Beautiful Architectural Lines create a fantastic MISSION OAK lamp! Lamp is Large measuring 25″ tall x 17″ square lamp top — it is a very Prominent Lamp for a room. Construction of the lamp is beautifully aesthetic & Architecturally Stunning from the era of CRAFTSMAN homes. Lamp is a Centerpiece of the home. The lighting glow is beautiful &the superb construction of the wood & swirled slag glass warms any room w the lighting. This Lamp is an understated Masterpiece w an Elegance unrivaled by very few lamps. Lamp takes 1 regular lightbulb. Beautiful overall but here are the problems. – examining closely appears a thin glass slag panel may have been replaced but only can decide this when looking very closely at the lamp examining it down to tiniest detail still not really certain. – there is an area near one corner edge side of the wooden edge base of the lamp that has some damage to wood but you can see in the picture below. Also see a little edge damage thru a mag glass where the screw screws in, also the lamp has an older 2 prong plug & would need to be updated. Overall a wonderful lamp. I rate it 10 in beauty &, aesthetics. Just below perfect in condition. But most of the issues are thru a magnifier lense on the camera not too noticeable to the naked eye. In the pictures you can view where the base is screwed to the top of the lamp shade part. Right now they are lightly screwed in So where you see a little air that is only because I didn’t screw them back on tightly for the picture. This is a rare Gorgeous Handsome LAMP!!!! 1910′s Heavy Large Antique Floor Lamp with Slag Glass Wood & Metal -STUNNING
We have a huge heavy antique slag glass, baluster FLOOR LAMP for sale. This is a very heavy ornate lamp and the post is made of a combination of metal (maybe brass) and wood in a leaf and scroll pattern. The shade is 16 1/4″ square and measures 20″ from the top of the finial to the bottom of the beads. The entire lamp stands just short of 7 feet tall. The base bottom measures 15 1/4″ across and the fattest part of the post is a little over 7″ across. It has a double pull chain light and still sports its original wiring. The shade is made of metal with tabs for holding the glass inserts in. It had slag glass inserts, but l removed them as a couple of the pieces were broken and all of the slag glass pieces – even the broken ones – come with it. I tried to make it match my livingroom decor which is in a French theme, so l had the local glass cutters copy and cut all 12 pieces in plexiglass so that l could cover the plexiglass with fabric to match my room. I glued on the fabric and gloss sealed so it can be cleaned. There was long fringe hanging from the shade, but l removed it and it was so rotten that l threw it away. I bought bead trim and glued it on the inside edge. I think it came out beautiful!! To me it is a lot prettier to use this way, but collectors may want to repair the two broken pieces of slag glass and use them – you get both the plexiglass and the slag glass so it is your choice. And just let it ride to see what happens. I will help anyway l can. This is a family heirloom and l hate to part with it, but it just doesn’t fit my decor. ADDED THIS ON ——– January 6, 2017 ——- If you would like to see similar lampshades like the one on this lamp, google “vintage mission floor lamps” or “vintage craftsman floor lamps” – grandma always called it a slag lamp, but only the glass can be slag and as for the post, l have not seen one like it and l have been trying to find one for years, with hours spent on the net searching.
