All of the fun aside, this Wilkinson slag glass lamp in very good condition. No broken glass or damage to shade or lamp. There are some small chips on some of the glass outside of the area you see when looking at the lamp (see photo for example). The wiring is in good condition and works perfectly. This is a Wilkinson Slag Glass Lamp on a Tree Trunk Base. The lamp stands between 21′ and 22 and the lamp shade is about 20.5 inches wide. HUGE Leaded Slag Stained Glass Floral Lamp by Wilkinson Handel Tiffany Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a really great looking and quite large floral lamp by Wilkinson. I love the curved panels in it that end with an amazing floral apron. Its a large and impressive lamp with a 20″ diameter shade that stands 26″ tall. Its in excellent, all original condition and appears to have been very well cared for in its over 120 year life! I see no cracks at all in the shade, which in and of itself is quite amazing. The use of bent glass and really thin lead lines attests to the quality of this maker and really adds to the beauty of the lamp. The base is super heavy and has a wonderful dark green finish. It has all of its original hardware and has recently been rewired with period style cloth braided cord. Wilkinson made some really great lamps and because of the bent panels in this one, I’d say it is one of their better floral ones. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. If you want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. If you are watching this just to watch and see if it sells, that’s fine.

Wilkinson Antique Vintage Slag Glass Arts Crafts Lamp Handel Bradley Hubbard Era. That’s an unbelievable savings as well. This isn’t a common lamp and doesnt come up very often and is in excellent original condition. This is a full sized lamp in that its measuring 21.5 inches tall and the shade being 14.5 inches wide. The lamp unsigned but 150% to be a Wilkinson. The lamp very heavy and well made as are all Wilkinson’s. They didnt skimp on their metal content when they made lamps lol. The lamp in fine working order and there is no damage at all to the base and shade. All the filligree present on the shade and no breaks or cracks in the glass. I love the ensign work in the overlay and really no other period maker did this style or quality of overlay. Simple yet distinctive and meaningful. All the glass holding tabs on the inside of the shade present and the base recently rewired with period style cloth cord and old style plug. The base also retains all three of its original Hubbell sockets and acorn pulls. All in all a super nice arts and crafts style lamp from a not so overly seen and interesting period maker. This isn’t a very common lamp and doesnt come up very often and is in excellent original condition. Wilkinsons made great lamps because they overbuilt them. I think Wilkinson made the highest quality slag glass lamps bar none. I think most other dealers will agree. This is a very large sized lamp in that its measuring 26.5 inches tall and the shade being 19.5 inches wide. This particular lamp unsigned but 100% to be a Wilkinson and has been documented as so. Again they didnt skimp on their metal content when they made lamps lol. The lamp in fine working order and there is no damage at all to the very heavy base and shade. All the filligree present on the shade and no breaks or cracks in the glass. I love the embossed design work on the base. Molded extremely well with a great victorian/art nouveau rams heads in full regalia around them. Simple yet distinctive and meaningful. All the glass holding tabs on the inside of the shade present and accounted for and the shade not missing any exterior filligree. The base and shade have always been together based upon matching patina thereof and proper proportional sizing. Speaking of patina, this lamp has very very nice overall color/patina throughout. An truly outstanding beautiful original super rare very large antique Wilkinson partners desk lamp in very good condition. Extremely heavy for its size. This lamp has a big presence even in a large room. Wilkinson was one of the finest makers of leaded glass and panel lamps of that era, there casting was second to none. The slag glass in this shade is truly outstanding full of color and fire that is often missing in other lamps the photos don’t do it any justice. This lamp has most of its original components even retaining the original Hubbell turn key sockets, final and bake-o-lite wall plug. The casting and overall quality of this lamp is very fine far beyond most. All of the very finely cast metal overlay work is in very good condition with nothing replaced or repaired. On the lower corners of the shades there are 6 of the 16 little tear drops that are missing that will go unnoticed. One of the little tracks came lose that holds a glass panel in place on the lower portion of one shade that was resoldered back into place. The original finish has mostly worn away but it has developed its own patina that presents very well. The original Hubbell turn key light sockets are in perfect working order. From the front shade corner to the rear shade corner is 15 across. Please be aware if your located near the West coast of the U.
