A Beautiful Large 20 Antique/Vintage Arts & Crafts Era. Leaded Slag Stained Glass Lamp Shade w/Fruit Design. It comes with all of the original parts to make it a hanging lamp if so desired. The photos were taken showing it mounted as a shade on a sturdy floor lamp and it could be used accordingly. As you can see from the photos the blue/green/purple glass pieces are iridescent colors. Very cool when lit up! It’s a multi-panel shade that has no damage to the glass. No cracks, chips or breaks, which is rare and hard to find. (We’ll make sure to pack it so it arrives in the same condition). The apples & pears on the sides stick out about 3/4″ to 1″ from the sides. The cherries are flat. Measurements: 20″ diameter (plus the fruit that sticks out on the edge 3/4′-1″). 14tall to the top of the crown. A very helpful eBayer sent us a lovely message about the history of this shade. He said it was made by a company known as Chapman House Tiffanies in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, USA. Dennis Fusaro and Christopher Foster were the original owners. When the company closed in the 1970′s, many of the workers formed the Heart Tiffany company out of New London, Connecticut about 20 miles north of Old Saybrook. Thanks for the great info! Antique Hanging Leaded slag glass fruit lamp. This is a very nice antique fruit lamp with all the vibrant colored glass around the edges. One advantage of this lamp is it has three lights so you can adjust the lighting level to your needs, many only come with one bulb. Another additional feature is that it has an eight foot chain and plug (which can be adjusted to your needs). This way you don’t have to have a electrical fixture added to your ceiling, the cord is long enough to reach a wall plug. Heavy Metal Antique Art Nouveau Slag Leaded Glass Lamp Floral & Fruit Design
It has a gorgeous bronze polychrome finish, an elegant base that has 2 long satellite pull chain sockets one marked Pat. It is unsigned, probably had a paper label. The shade is open topped and sits on a cast rest at the top of the base. One glass panel has been repaired but expertly done so as to blend in with the shade glass colors. The lamp stands 22″ tall, the shade is 16″ across and the base is 6.75 across. The cord is sticky but the lamp does work as is. Weighs approx 13 pounds. This will be packed very well and carefully.
