Old Antique EGYPTIAN MOTIF Caramel & Red BENT SLAG GLASS HANGING LAMP Handel
Antique Bent Glass Lamp. Presented for your consideration is this RARE antique hanging lamp. The lamp is is octagon shaped with curved panels of caramel slag glass on the top and red-orange-caramel colored slag glass panels are around the bottom. The top of the lamp has a pedal design done in caramel slag glass. Over the top of the panels around the bottom is an Egyptian motif. In the scene there are camels and a man standing by palm trees. One camel is laying on the ground while the other is standing. In the background is a pyramid. Nice, intricate detailing is throughout the design. The lamp is finished with an electric socket in the middle and a chain hanger. Guaranteed to be old. This hard to find hanging lamp would make a great addition to any lamp or lighting collection! There is no plug on the end of the wire so we are unable to test it. Looks to be in working condition through. Typical light wear from age and use. All of the glass appears to be free of chips and cracks. Overall in VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT condition. Please refer to the photos for the best details.
