This has a great look and it lights up better than I can photograph. Its in very good overall condition as well. The base measures 26 inches tall and the shade is 18 inches wide. The base signed with the b and h triangle logo (please see photo) and I would say its from the 1925 period. The base in original patina throughout and newly rewired with proper period style cloth cord. There is no metalware damage to speak of and its in fine working order. The patina old and in great color but somewhat stressed here or there with some minor marks or scratches and as to be expected for a 100 year old base. The base also with nice old matching sockets. The shade with very nice glass and leading throughout and without any looseness in the glass segments nor any missing glass. I dont even see a tight age crack throughout the whole shade so thats a great thing. The quality of the glass very good and with a granite effect on the inside and smooth on the outside. Thanks for looking and please check out my other cool lamps I have up for sale now as well. So when I see your offers, I have to subtract those costs to get to my net. The costs can be up to 250.00 per item depending on the final price. I will be offering my lamps as reasonable as possible so as to 1. Not cause sticker shock like so many other sellers, 2. To sell them and not let my inventory sit around for years on end. Thanks for checking this great lamp out and please check out my other great lighting options as well. Zone two would be 75.00 times 20% which equals 15.00 which is added to the 75.00 and becomes 90.00. Zone three is 75.00 times 33% which is 25.00 which then becomes 100.00 for zone three. Sorry to do this and I hope you will stay on as fine and loyal customers. We may be able to hand deliver this item ourselves. What that means is this. There are a few things in life we cant do without. Food, water, fire, oxygen, the sun, shelter etc. So when it comes to shelter and necessary light for it, thats where I come in. I believe in living simply and within my means but surrounded by items of great quality. Of and the wasteful utilities that go along with that. So why is it people go out and spend. Not to mention you got the same usage for that entire time period? This makes infinitely more financial sense than the other choice, plus you have a conversation piece in the room and something to be proud of. Also you have more cultural feeling invested in something 100 years old knowing that it can never be duplicated by modern making techniques and knowing there a few, if any, like it left for this world and now its yours. You display it and care for it. So again thats where I come in. Great period lighting when electricity was still in its infancy. When makers like Bradley and Hubbard, Handel, Tiffany studios, Pairpoint, and others cared about quality, appearance, and function. When makers were trying to outdo one another with this new business boom of electric lighting. When we went from whale and kerosene oil lamps and gas, to electric. This is when the best lamps in the world were manufactured and the ones I want to light my home with when its dark. I cant control the sun or the amount of light it provides or when it comes up or goes down, and whether its cloudy or not, but I can control the light in my home when its dark. And like I said earlier, I want nice rugs, paintings, pottery, furniture, etc. And I want to see those items lit by great lighting. Its what makes a home more outstanding and livable because without it you see absolutely nothing. A quality lamp makes or breaks a room. You can have the best rugs, furniture, paintings, and accessories in the world, but without great lamps or lighting nobody will ever see it. Wilkinson overbuilt everything they ever made and this is no exception. Its a user friendly mid sized lamp measuring in at 22 inches tall with the shade being 14.5 inches wide. Both base and shade in original patina and the base needing no excuses as there is no metalware damage to speak of and in fine working order. Sockets are harvey hubbells and have their original sattelite pulls. The shade with no breaks or chips in any the the original glass. The shade very heavy and sturdy as is the way for wilkinson lamps. No filligree losses or breaks. A very very nice arts and crafts design unlike any other maker which makes this a little more interesting in my opinion. The lamp displays very very nicely and will certainly be around for another century or two. So when I see your offers, I have to subtract those costs to get to my net. The costs can be up to 250.00 per item depending on the final price. I will be offering my lamps as reasonable as possible so as to 1. Not cause sticker shock like so many other sellers, 2. I have for sale this very nice twice signed handel leaded geometric lamp. Twice signed means both shade and base being properly signed. This is a very nice leaded lamp and its in excellent overall condition. This is a full sized lamp with The base measuring 24.5 inches tall and the shade 16 inches wide. The base without issue, which means no metalware breaks or damage and its in fine working order. It has its original three socket cluster with hubbell sockets and acorn pulls and its been recently rewired with correct period style cloth cord. Its also in excellent original patina throughout. The shade in excellent original condition with all pieces of glass present and accounted for. A few stray tight age cracks here or there as would be expected for a leaded shade such as at the most 2-3. The glass vibrant and alive as the pictures show and all the leading tight and right throughout. Great glass here folks as handel is well known for with some nice dirt in the striations of the glass. I only used 7.5 watt bulbs to give you some idea how good the glass lights up. The shade well made with the leading showing no signs of weakness nor losses. The shade signed with a handel tag on the lower border and the base signed on the bottom. So when I see your offers, I have to subtract those costs to get to my net. The costs can be up to 250.00 per item depending on the final price. I will be offering my lamps as reasonable as possible so as to 1. Not cause sticker shock like so many other sellers, 2. This is a great lamp folks and its in very nice original condition. Maker unknown but of the bradley hubbard/miller quality. Empire would be my best guess. Its without damage and has a super arts and crafts feel to it. Its a full sized lamp with the shade measuring 19.5 inches across and the base being 20 inches high. All original paint/patina throughout the base and its in fine working order. A little paint loss here and there on the base as to be expected for a 100 year item. The base is a pottery base not metal even though it looks to be metal. As for the shade, there is no missing or broken filligree segments and all glass panels without breaks, cracks, or losses. This is a very heavy and well made shade for sure. The framework of the shade also without any breaks, cracks, or losses. Thanks for looking and please check out my other lighting options as well. It is the most unusual Unique/Handel lamp that I have ever seen. Bright and beautiful with tons of color. There must be 1000 pieces of glass in this one! And then there’s the shape…. Very unusual with a bowed out apron that curls underneath. I believe the shade is Unique and the base for sure is Handel (as it is prominently stamped on the bottom as shown). I have owned many lamps like this….. Some even have a spurious Handel tag in them…… Even the finish on the base matches that of the shade. Now on to the specifics….. The shade, at its widest, is 18″ in diameter but as I said it curls under to about 15 1/2″. The lamp itself stands 23 1/2 tall. I see a few small cracks here and there, but nothing serious. The base has its original Hubbell sockets with their original porcelain interiors and acorn ended pull chains. It has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and a nice looking old plug and the lamp comes ready to use and enjoy. This is a really nice one, folks, so don’t let it get by. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me.
