This is an original exquisite large Bradley & Hubbard signed Bent Slag Glass lamp. This is a large and heavy lamp standing 24 1/2 inches tall on a 7 1/2 inch sculpted base. The base and the vase like column are all wonderfully cast and have the original patinated bronze finish in almost perfect condition. The 8 panel bent slag glass shade is 20 1/2 inches in diameter and stands 7 3/4 inches tall. It is complete and all the sculpted overlay is complete with a wonderful antique bronze patina. I did notice that one small segment of the overlay has been replaced. I usually remove things like that but it is secure and tight so I left it. I didn’t even notice it until I was preparing to take the photos. The Bent Slag Glass panels are complete, no cracks or breaks. The lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfectly. This is a beautiful well proportioned Bent Slag Glass Lamp, probably by Miller Lamp Co. I have the same shade on another signed Miller lamp, but this lamp is unmarked but for #718 on the bottom of the base. It stands 22 inches tall to the top of the finial. The base is 6 1/2 inches in diameter with a terrific wicker weave sort of sculpted pattern to it. The entire lamp has a wonderful original patinated finish to it with verdigris highlights to it and in excellent condition. The 6 panel bent slag glass shade is all complete with no cracks or missing pieces and in beautiful condition. The shade is 13 – 15 inches in diameter, depending on measuring flats or corners and is 8 1/2 inches tall. The column has a chased brass pattern to it with a terrific patina and at the top and bottom there are modeled metal leaves surrounding the central column. The lamp has been correctly rewired with and works perfectly. Just a beautiful lamp for your home that is sure to increase in value.
